I was able to rip over to Vancouver Island for a few days last week and meet up with my friend Steve ‪@proguide66‬ for a coastal archery black bear hunt. This was the most fun hunt I have had in years. I have taken my fair share of black bears over the years, but I have never found a true monster. Vancouver Island has some of the biggest black bears in BC, and I knew if I had the chance to hunt there with Steve, I was going to hold out for something special.
