I have witnessed this station everytime when I travel to my home from Ranchi to Gomoh, it was really strange, even before I heard this story, I always find this station a bit weird even in broad daylight, because my train never stopped there, & I didn't saw a single passenger ever, today I came to know the truth all around.

रांची से आसनसोल जाने के दौरान kotshila के 2 स्टेशन के बाद बेगुनकोदर मिलता है कभी ध्यान नही दिया आज वहाँ की सच्चाई पता चला इतिहास बताने को धन्यवाद,,,,वैसे कुछ पैसेंजर ट्रेनें आज बेगुनकोदर मे रुकती है,,,।
I have passed thru this station numerous times, trains stop here even at night and ticket counter is also open.

Begunkodar came under my jurisdiction being a electricity employee under Wb govt.

I have worked in the different villages of Jhalda Block of Purulia District.1st think Begunkodar Railway station not even falls under Begunkodar Panchayat. Railway station is in Bamnia-Beladi Panchayat. Distance between Begunkodar Railway station to Begunkodar town is nearly 10 km. Many such stories are there. Many times I have taken train from here. The station is absolutely fine and good. Near to it a Chou Dance musium is there. One must visit to there .

I do journey from Jharkhand...and whenever i go west bengal ... 🚆 train stops at this station. Every local people knows it's a haunted station..so if it's evening time people chant hanuman chalisa..and train never crosses that station at night time. Even those stories are true till date.
