- Hello there! During my session of procrastination I suddenly had the genius idea of shooting a video about my Uni haha
I remember myself trying to find random videos about Tsinghua before going there so I thought about shooting one myself yay

Zahra M12 oh, architecture is not considered as an art program. If you want to apply for art, then yes, you do need a portfolio

@@ssasapan4755 Yes, you do need a recommendation letter. The person who will recommend you will receive a link to fill. I took the IELTS but it is not a must, so it is ok if people don't have it! Thank you! Good luck in the application!

And, If I want to apply for a program taught in English, do I also need to have a required level of Chinese? (Some people have told me that it is needed to submit certificates or a statement that proves ones participation and/or achievements of extracurricular activities and/or contests. Are those really a must or just by submitting ones highschool score report is enough?)
Hi, I’m a freshmen at Tsinghua, and SAT is not a must as long as ur school provides an international transcript like IB. Well I cannot say that it’s a must to submit other documents but u will be competing with quite a lot of international students so I think it’s better if you can “enchant” your application. I read that application deadline is on January and classes starts on September, my school uses the American calendar, I've just begun my senior year 3 weeks ago and won't be receiving the graduation certificate until June. Do you know if there's any alternative for this type of situation?
SULIN ZY I think it's okay not to submit your graduation certificate, but you need to provide a statement by your school that clarifies you will be graduating on June or you can just submit your last high school transcript. U can try contacting through their email admission@tsinghua.edu.cn

nope :(, all courses are in Chinese or half and half.

And that is if we don't meet the minimum language requirement (HSK4) do we get an 1 year Chinese language program to allow us reach the language requirement? And does the bachelor of fashion design be taught in Chinese or half and half? Really need it.
For example the current Chinese proficiency is HSK3, do we get an year Chinese language study at Tsinghua or any other schools that provide language programs
Hi, thank you for the video 🥰 I'm really interested in their MIS undergraduate program, but I can't find any information on their application requirements. Can I have your stats? I really want to know the required level for HSK, TOEFL, SAT, ect.

@@liqritrs8391 i took the IELTS, they only ask for a certain level of HSK btw, the english certificate is a plus. They ask for a level that's higher than 4 for HSK so 6 is great! I had 8 for IELTS and 5 for HSK
@@gized7319 I know. It depends for the course but a hsk4 is what's required for nuclear engineering. You'd literally die in that course. Anything under a hsk6 is going to be incredibly difficult to do classes in Chinese and actually absorb enough, not just slug along and pass. That's just my personal opinion. I know people with Hsk5 who would die in China. Imo a hsk6 is the minimum level you should have to do a course in China, it's what's required for Beida. For the English courses... Just get the minimum requirement and you'll be fine.
@@liqritrs8391 Yeah you are right, Chinese is the hardest part of studying in China. It surely depends on the subjects you are studying and I am an architecture student so I am required to have more practical skills rather than a really high Chinese level. About the over courses like nuclear engineering I am sure that I would really struggle like you said.
Will Tsinghua accepted like international student who don’t know much about Chinese languages?
Hello! They require a minimum level of HSK4 and u need to reach HSK 5 within the first year. So that u have a certain level of Chinese to follow the classes.

no no, Italy doesn't have SAT either, don't worry about this, just show them your local tests scores.

Not really, there isn't much of blue skies... But the air quality is not as bad as I was expected and it's definetly better than the past. But not as good as I would like to

You can find vegan and vegetarian food at Tsinghua, when u arrive at the campus they will have the canteen guide, you can ask the staff to circle out where u can specifically find vegan or vegetarian food!

@@diegomendezzafra8227 Beijing in general is more expensive than other cities in China, it also depends on the district u go to. Nights out cost a bit, especially if u go to the "tourists" areas, while expenses in the campus are really low. For a meal u spend about from 10 to 15 rmb and that's usually a full meal.
I have my integrative test next week ( a meeting ) with tsinghua university and they said it's an hour and half long and I'm really scared... Did u have that meeting too when u applied ? And what questions did they ask ? Do I need to prepare for anything ? Do i need to talk in chiense ? Are they going to test my chiense or math skills ... Thank you in advance for any help

@@cristina7715 For me, I did okay in my interview. I'm lacking in my chinese speaking skills but I still managed to answer it. So they will ask you in chinese first like introduce yourself and many more (university interview questions). Then, for the english interviewer, they'll ask you about your personal statement and your knowledge towards your major.
@@harrysalim2993 I decided to check my notifications and I just saw this. Do you overall struggle with Chinese ? It's my first year and let me tell you something alot of the classes are in Chinese and u need to know like technical words for chemistry and naming compounds. So if you've got the time, you should work on that so u don't struggle as much as I am atm haha!
