I agree, this won't last you can't change the inevitable, they are not happy together, she's too opinionated and controlling. Jamie will one day become strong and will see he can still be a good dad not living in a toxic environment and will finally realize he made the biggest mistake letting Dakota go and have paid a heavy, painful price in letting her get away. The sad part of this is Frame 2:07, when his publicist has to tell them to hug for paparazzi sake, and he does and a second later he was ready to let her go until publicist looked at them and then he showed affection that wasn't natural. he was already invested in Dakota. His marriage had issues before the movie began. It's a shame for them to stay in a loveless marriage, none of them are happy,but she will never let him go. she would deal with the infidelity before letting him go. he is stuck until he realizes he made a mistake getting married for the wrong reasons will NEVER work!!! I am sure there were times when the movie was finished he felt lost, quietly conflicted, where she was heavily on his mind, resided in his heart ❤ and didn't know what to do, because, who can he tell? He was married with kids and responsibilities to his family. He had to act like he was the same person in his marriage. Probably was hard when it came to being a husband, when someone else is the person you want to kiss 💋and hold and love, and was alone out there with a bleeding heart as well. Then his worst nightmare happened, she moved on and was now in a new relationship, with all the components needed to make her happy and give her everything you wanted to give her but couldn't. And eventually she was falling in love and now looks so happy, and shining like the diamond she is... Sad but true! Jamie wasn't happy before Dakota came into the picture and much less while filming, he met someone who allowed him the freedom to be himself, was his happiest, and was experiencing love 💘, he met his soul mate at the wrong time in his unhappy life! When you see Jamie today, he lost that spark, that love that made him laugh so much, that woman who made him feel like 10 feet tall. Now it's too late, he practically gave her away, handed her over, and his greatest loss he has to live with. He still looks unhappy in his marriage they both are, they don't belong together, they're just existing for the children, which can't hold a family together without the most important components that are not there. Jamie looks very lonely and lost, even on his so called romantic vacation with his wife in Italy. I have seen about 14 photos, and a video of him and Amelia, no chemistry, no affection or PDA, his thoughts look far away, he's not in love with his wife, he cares for her because she is the mother of his children, but his 💘 belongs elsewhere and it still shows. Let's see how long he will fake the funk for publicity sake, we don't buy the happy marriage, didn't then and don't now. I kind of feel bad for him, but he should of done something about it.
Gia, so well said, I agree 100%, he needed someone like you as a friend/confidant to make him realize his truth. Because family would only advice him this feeling will pass and stay married. But that is not always the best advice, because family will go on in their lives, and your still unhappy because you don't want to disappoint anyone, but life is unfair and we have to live our lives as honest and truthful or we have major regrets and then the inevitable happens and marriage doesn't last and the time wasted trying; knowing you have one foot out the door was starring u in the face from the beginning. I am a BIG BELIEVER to be true to yourself and follow your heart, just do it with integrity, and kindness, yes someone gets hurt but, in the long run you do them a favor as well, instead of giving false hope to waste valuable time on both parts. My Dad left when we were younger ( I was 5 years old and I have two brothers) and dad made sure he was always was in our lives, he NEVER stop being a Dad or showing love and made us 100% part of his life with someone else and our half siblings, we all felt secure and never looked upon us as his children from another marriage. We were all loved and because of that communication and honesty made us stronger as adults in life and grew to love his wife early on, whom adored him and made him smile and laugh constantly to this day. She makes my dad so happy, HOW CAN WE DENY HIM AT HIS BEST! He explained when we were old enough to understand that he loved our mom and she was the best wife and mother, but sometimes in life you grow in different paths and you meet someone who you were meant to be IN THAT TIME OF HIS LIFE,and he wanted us to share that with him and be a part of what made him truly a better Dad because of it. INSTEAD OF PRETENDING AND SUGAR COATING LIFE, it is how to handle it, and never has my mom ever used us as pawns, she never spoke down, even in her sadness, she always spoke of their great love , but let us also know in life these things happen and it's no ones fault, you have to live your truth; and she eventually 2 years later met someone who did the same for her and I have been blessed with two GREAT Men/Dads and we all get along. My step dad is a very loving man, he is a lawyer for celebrities....So I am here to tell you it can happen and today I am very happy in my personal life with a great husband because of the Dad who showed us to live truthfully, and kept being a part of our lives. No matter how much you love your kids, its not enough to hold a marriage of two people who are not happy under the same roof. Today I have 2 siblings( SISTERS) from his 2nd marriage and we are all very close, because it was always where we loved each other and were happy when we were altogether, when it's meant to be, it will work it out. I thank them both for their love for one another and Maturity, that allowed them to let each other go in spite of the hurt it caused them, and showed us a valuable lesson in life!
Made O wish he would read your story, it is right on point. It's not as hate his wife, we saw her for her true personality and we saw you at your happiest in a relationship. We want Jamie to be his happiest because it is his spinach, it strengthens him and makes him a better man and it will make him an even better Dad. Your story is a great one filled with life in its truest form, and I am happy it turned out that way, because your Dad was following his truth and taught you a valuable important lesson, not to fear change, to follow your truth and to make you a part of his life and family, and your mother's unconditional love for her kids and your Dad even though she hurt, wished him the best even if it meant not being with her. Your Parents are really remarkable and that is the real meaning of love, no jealousy, no malice, just kind and love you guys enough to give you a healthier upbringing allowing you to have the best of both households. Some parents do think it we make it seem nice for the kids they will not suffer and love us more for the sacrifice, that is untrue. Children can sense things no matter how old they are, and like I have said not living your truth because you need approval for your sacrificed e isn't going to get you any brownie points, what you do instead is teach them to settle in love and that is the worst you can do. Your Parents were brave and mature enough to see the difference in the outcome long term, and your mom found her soulmate, her purpose with your Dad was to bring you guys into the world and give you the proper tools to live your life to the fullest, you should be very proud of them. Jade thanks for sharing. Great story and it can be that way. My Dad has always been in my life and we accept his second wife because we didn't blame her for dad leaving our home. He was very unhappy and he and Mom weren't happy together, but they never put us in the middle against each other, because their love for us was stronger than their ego. That's what mature, good parents do and because of that we learned to be true to thyself and never settle for less in our lives. Mom and dad have always communicated and Mom ended up marrying my Dad's best friend 3 years later, who always cared for my Mom and Dad was ok with it because he knew he would be good to my mom and us, and dad never got angry or jealous, he was happy in his life and now today we get together for birthday dinners, and some social gatherings as Family Reunions. So I am here to say this can happen, it has worked out for you Jade and also for me and my sister. My Dad ended up having a son by his second wife, so we have a brother. I was 7 yrs old when my Dad left.

I believe 100%, he would have chosen Dakota hands down, I think his responsibilities to his kids are 90% above all, and 10% his reputation. Dakota was so easy going, open minded, funny and as he said very sweet and easy to get along with, I think he admired her qualities and Dakota made him feel 10 ft. tall. She gave him her 100 % attention and that shows. Linda, I wonder, if they didn't become intimate and he had these strong desires for her w/o indulging, would he have chosen her? Would he have been able to walk away without ever intimately having her, I think that would of have been in her favor. Men love mystery and are more challenged in that way. He might have felt like he had to have her, had to make her his. Sometimes it pays if you really love someone to hold out and wait for them to be able to offer you more in the relationship, as oppose to having his cake and eating it to. The sad part of this is Frame 2:07, when his publicist has to tell them to hug for paparazzi sake, and he does and a second later he was ready to let her go until publicist looked at them and then he showed affection that wasn't natural. he was already invested in Dakota. His marriage had issues before the movie began. It's a shame for them to stay in a loveless marriage, none of them are happy,but she will never let him go. she would deal with the infidelity before letting him go. he is stuck until he realizes he made a mistake getting married for the wrong reasons will NEVER work!!! I am sure there were times when the movie was finished he felt lost, quietly conflicted, where she was heavily on his mind, resided in his heart ❤ and didn't know what to do, because, who can he tell? He was married with kids and responsibilities to his family. He had to act like he was the same person in his marriage. Probably was hard when it came to being a husband, when someone else is the person you want to kiss 💋and hold and love, and was alone out there with a bleeding heart as well.
Then his worst nightmare happened, she moved on and was now in a new relationship, with all the components needed to make her happy and give her everything you wanted to give her but couldn't. And eventually she was falling in love and now looks so happy, and shining like the diamond she is... Sad but true!
Jamie wasn't happy before Dakota came into the picture and much less while filming, he met someone who allowed him the freedom to be himself, was his happiest, and was experiencing love 💘, he met his soul mate at the wrong time in his unhappy life!
When you see Jamie today, he lost that spark, that love that made him laugh so much, that woman who made him feel like 10 feet tall.
Now it's too late, he practically gave her away, handed her over, and his greatest loss he has to live with.
He still looks unhappy in his marriage they both are, they don't belong together, they're just existing for the children, which can't hold a family together without the most important components that are not there.
Jamie looks very lonely and lost, even on his so called romantic vacation with his wife in Italy.
I have seen about 14 photos, and a video of him and Amelia, no chemistry, no affection or PDA, his thoughts look far away, he's not in love with his wife, he cares for her because she is the mother of his children, but his 💘 belongs elsewhere and it still shows. Let's see how long he will fake the funk for publicity sake, we don't buy the happy marriage, didn't then and don't now. I kind of feel bad for him, but he should of done something about it.
Gia, so well said, I agree 100%, he needed someone like you as a friend/confidant to make him realize his truth. Because family would only advice him this feeling will pass and stay married. But that is not always the best advice, because family will go on in their lives, and your still unhappy because you don't want to disappoint anyone, but life is unfair and we have to live our lives as honest and truthful or we have major regrets and then the inevitable happens and marriage doesn't last and the time wasted trying; knowing you have one foot out the door was starring u in the face from the beginning.

My Dad left when we were younger ( I was 5 years old and I have two brothers) and dad made sure he was always was in our lives, he NEVER stop being a Dad or showing love and made us 100% part of his life with someone else and our half siblings, we all felt secure and never looked upon us as his children from another marriage. We were all loved and because of that communication and honesty made us stronger as adults in life and grew to love his wife early on, whom adored him and made him smile and laugh constantly to this day. She makes my dad so happy,

My step dad is a very loving man, he is a lawyer for celebrities....So I am here to tell you it can happen and today I am very happy in my personal life with a great husband because of the Dad who showed us to live truthfully, and kept being a part of our lives.
No matter how much you love your kids, its not enough to hold a marriage of two people who are not happy under the same roof.
Today I have 2 siblings( SISTERS) from his 2nd marriage and we are all very close, because it was always where we loved each other and were happy when we were altogether, when it's meant to be, it will work it out.
I thank them both for their love for one another and Maturity, that allowed them to let each other go in spite of the hurt it caused them, and showed us a valuable lesson in life!

Some parents do think it we make it seem nice for the kids they will not suffer and love us more for the sacrifice, that is untrue. Children can sense things no matter how old they are, and like I have said not living your truth because you need approval for your sacrificed e isn't going to get you any brownie points, what you do instead is teach them to settle in love and that is the worst you can do.
Your Parents were brave and mature enough to see the difference in the outcome long term, and your mom found her soulmate, her purpose with your Dad was to bring you guys into the world and give you the proper tools to live your life to the fullest, you should be very proud of them. Jade thanks for sharing. Great story and it can be that way. My Dad has always been in my life and we accept his second wife because we didn't blame her for dad leaving our home. He was very unhappy and he and Mom weren't happy together, but they never put us in the middle against each other, because their love for us was stronger than their ego. That's what mature, good parents do and because of that we learned to be true to thyself and never settle for less in our lives. Mom and dad have always communicated and Mom ended up marrying my Dad's best friend 3 years later, who always cared for my Mom and Dad was ok with it because he knew he would be good to my mom and us, and dad never got angry or jealous, he was happy in his life and now today we get together for birthday dinners, and some social gatherings as Family Reunions. So I am here to say this can happen, it has worked out for you Jade and also for me and my sister. My Dad ended up having a son by his second wife, so we have a brother. I was 7 yrs old when my Dad left.
