You have to see the very famous Marbella Club Hotel and walk all the way down the ocean promenade to Puerto Banus. You missed the "Golden Mile". The only thing you saw was basically downtown Marbella. No wonder you like Malaga better.

Yes, thanks for the tip! We only had a short amount of time in Marbella so we chose to prioritize the Old Town this time, but we have something to look forward to for our next visit!
