YEEEEEEEEEES SF9!!! This group really is a treasure, the 9 members are extremely talented, incredible voices, good rap, songwriters, choreographers, models, and great actors... besides being one of the tallest groups in the industry. Rowoon is 1.92 meters tall. In a few words, they are a complete group, the boys know how to play different instruments, but at the same time, as well as being great, these boys are also very funny and sweet with FANTASY (name of the fandom), I hope you can react to more songs ....they are all AMAZING!!!!❤

Thank you for your reaction. I love SF9 ❤❤❤ and this is one of my favourites of theirs. Your take on the different colours of love is so interesting and now they have a track on Pieceof9 called Love Colour which is also such a great song.
For reference, Kingdom's "Jealous" stage is more about jealousy and envy, that's why the entire performance has references to "Snow White and the Huntsman" and the book "The Perfume". Personally, I found that amazing. Thank you for your reaction n_n

A well known theory for this song is that the guys are so in love and obsessed with that person, that they became incredibly jealous of anyone coming near them and they use the dice to decide about something. At some point we see a weapon and the guys say in the song “I just did it” but the way they pronounce the Korean word for it, make it sound like they’re saying Jealous in English .
We can assume that they did something bad, did they k!ll someone who was too close to the person they love or even the person they’re obsessed with.
SF9 in their song often talk about obsessive and very toxic love, the toxicity coming from them or the person they love.
An other song of them I would love to see you react to is “Enough” people often miss the meaning of this song which is such a shame.
But also their song “Trauma” which is also quite interesting, the MV for this song is I believe is not linked to the song but to their 9lory Universe that they started with Good Guy.

I became a fan of SF9 because of Kingdom and this is my favorite title track of theirs! I've never heard a breakdown of the MV like this before though... thank you, it opened my eyes to new symbolism in it!

yes yes yes!! all the yesses to this!! sf9 are my darling baby group, i've followed them since pre-debut and i consider them my actual sons lmao love to see you checking them out!! i think you were pretty spot on with your interpretation of the lyrics and music video since they really like to talk about toxic/obsessive love in their music!
your mention of being in love with yourself and narcisism made me think of their song 'enough', which touches on that a lot -- even the album is called 'narcissus' and the music video and choreography play a lot with the concept of mirrors and flowers (cause... narcissus, get it? lol)
like i've seen in some coments here, i think you'd really enjoy dissecting their 'trauma' and 'tear drop' music videos for these more conceptual analysis... when it comes to storytelling though, i think you'd find it fun to go through their 'o sole mio', 'rpm', 'summer breeze' and even 'mamma mia' music videos. i know it's a lot, but do consider checking them out more, they are sooo underrated it's actually painful lmao i still cant believe they didnt get their first win with this song, it had everything going for them! thankfully, it eventually came with 'good guy' ^^
also, yeah, they aren't really saying jealous, they are saying 질렀어 (jilleosseo), which does mean "i did it" or, like the lyrics say, "i just did it", which is why the english name for the song is 'now or never', in the sense that it means not holding back and just going ahead and doing it (that being confess their love, make a move, whatever). but, a lot of people thought they were saying jealous, so it eventually stuck around and they even call it that sometimes (like for their kingdom version, which gave a whole other meaning to the song with their inspirations from the movie 'perfume')
The Kingdom version was inspired from the movie Parfume so the song was darker and the jealousy theme was more prominent in the performance. Maybe it would be more flashy if they did a Micheal Jackson themed performance with this song but i still loved how they included the story of Parfume in this performance. I think it was an interesting choice and the storytelling in the performance was great. However, i still love the original more 😅

I've never seen the lyrics before so I always thought they said "jealous" 😅 especially after their Kingdom performance.

They're not saying "jealous", they're saying 질렀어 (jilleosseo) which does indeed translate to "I did it"
(Google translate gives me "I screamed" but I'm just gonna trust the official translations of the lyrics I found on Color Coded Lyrics and Genius)
