If almost every big VA that was in the show signed a card....you think they got Nicki Minaj to actually sign one? I feel like that one would be worth a lot of money just because it's her signature lol
I wish they had made this into a battling card game like Yu-Gi-Oh or Magic. It could have potentially have been one of the most creative ones. Just imagine a dozen different versions of one gemstone and once you have more than one gem on the in play you can combine them together into a gem Fusion which would also have about a dozen different versions and abilities. It would have been really fun to watch them Flex their creative muscles and create new characters and fusions that we would have never have gotten to see in the show. I want to see what happens if we fuse Steven with white diamond or if we fused spinel with Steven.
i've tried making a small custom magic set around SU in the past but it just never went anywhere. i agree, that would've been the right direction to go in, i honestly hate "trading cards" in the vein of sports cards where they're just pictures on cardboard and you can't DO anything with them. what's the point then?
I literally just made a comment about this! With nearly 200 episodes, a movie, an epilogue and many comics, they ABSOLUTELY could've done an MTG/Pokemon- like batting game, and even done a bunch of different sets.

I was more interested in the Sadie Killer stuff then any Ronaldo focused episode, idk why but everyone was so down on Lars when Ronaldo was so much worse in my personal opinion
Rose Quartz isn't a villain, she was working with the best she had! She genuinely thought she was so unloved her family wouldn't care when she died, and it's not like she could just get therapy or ask someone the best way to handle the situation! The only role models she had were incredibly abusive, and if you can forgive the other three diamonds who did so much worse, you can forgive Rose who *died* before she understood the full weight of what she'd done. Other than that, I'm loving the video.
Im cant forgive the Diamonds, only because they act diferrent to make Steven happy, they dont have any regrets and so no redemption. Im can say that Rose was not thinking she would be a villain. Good intent ? Yes. But idk in The end she was a spoiled child who fucked everything up. Love the character on the show, hate the "person" that she was

I have all the base and chase cards including variants except the totally fabricated jasper card. Ive only seen it online twice. The first time by an extreme collector and once on ebay. It was $100. I could not afford it and eventually someone else got it. I have five sketch cards and one autograph card. I cant remember who signed it. Its in storage right now because I dont have a good place to display it right now. My dad got me the official binder with the exclusive card after it stopped being sold by messaging cryptozoic and they also gave me some stickers! I love my dad!
Foafy, there called "duplicated cards" or "dups" for short, if you get the same card once or more that means they are duplicates after getting one card for first time

I'm honestly so glad these cards include scenes all the way up to the last main series episode. It was always a huge gripe of mine to get cartoon trading cards, and they would only ever contain scenes from the first 2-3 seasons. I suppose spoilers would be an issue, but it always felt bad to get these things and somehow get duplicants because they would only cycle through early seasons.
I think everyone has a different bit/arc they like, and it's a credit to the show that it managed to be so even handed with time devoted to all the characters.
Right. But she's not an integral part of the show though. What bothers me about the filler isn't that it ignores the main plot it's that it chooses to focus on the boring side characters instead of the cool main characters. Connie, steven, greg, pearl, garnet, and amythist is already a large and diverse enough ensamble we don't need to make episode after episode on all these random human characters. If it was JUST sadie and lars I think it would be fine but there are so many episodes about fleshing out random people on the street. It sours that whole part of the show.

Like, imagine if some of the stronger gems like White Diamond, Garnet, Sugilite, Jasper, etcetera were the ultra rares and you had locations kinda like Pokemon Stadiums or Magic's Lands.
