I have either autism or a learning disability, and it makes me feel cursed and that I will never be able to fulfill my dreams, and that's what makes me feel depressed and makes me want to give up and spend to rest of my life at home. But I want to conquer this depression and be able to do the things I've dreamed of doing before I grow too old to do them. If only I was not cursed.

Beautifully made movie, that red panda-squirrel is too cute, and I'd love to meet the woman Nora was based on. The concept of needing the village -- social interaction -- is foreign to me, but I can appreciate others needing it. (Wow, seven directors.) Brava.

☺What an imagination of the artist showing animated drawing of female living up on clouds of which are about in some way saying about how some people, females and males, are cheated or wronged to live alone or with maybe choose to have pet/s. However; very much beautiful artwork of the inside and outside of the house, the clouds surrounding, the female character, her face expressions and body movements awesome artwork; respectfully to the artist responsible for the attached animated 🎥 video show.
Love prompts us to move forward. Beautifully depicted.
I understood the story. I understand the moral of the story. you cannot stay in the Fantasy world of books. it has to stay in the reality of the earth. foot on the floor.
That's only one half of the story's meaning, there is another layer. Also it isn't necessarily about staying in the fantasy world of books, more about escapism in general and about overcoming trauma and anxiety. In the first scene when she looks down through the gap in the clouds to the city below, the sight and the noise of other people scare her. In the last scene where she looks down, the chatter becomes inviting and she wants to go down there.
It is no coincidence that she doesn't just climb down the brittle ladder in the end, but uses the long scarf of wool she had been knitting all the time while being in her imaginary happy escape place. When you are caught up in anxiety, others can reach out to you and offer help (like the cat), but you can only ultimately overcome it if you work through it and sort yourself out. The escapism has its merit for some time, you need to take a your time to heal, but you can't stay there forever, you need to work your way back into the world.
