Loving the detail vid and owning a black car I know the work that it takes to make it look good! The sad part of a job well done on a black car is being able to clearly see every paint fault and small dent. Most will never see them on the car, but once you have you just can't unsee them and they pay hard on your OCD!!
Even though I watch M539 Restorations clean his cars all the time this is the first and last time I enjoy a full detail from start to finish! A very nice job.
@@joealex65 yeah, I feel like most people who haven't experienced a lot of ASMR think it's all gross mouth sounds and stuff. XD I remember getting tingles from things as a kid and thought maybe I was the only one. Then the internet came along and told me that thing actually had a name and lots of people experienced it. That was a life changing revelation for me. 🙂
@@thomasolson8417 no tingles, and to be fair, the audio is still annoying at times (but I have misophonia so that's unsurprising), I think the visuals being so tightly linked to the audio is what saved it. Is there such a thing as "visual ASMR"?
This throws me back to Gears and Gasoline's ASMR detailing videos... RIP Daniel Maybe you should take a page from their book, and maybe get the guys at SPD to get some regular store bought (sponsor, Supercheap) products and items. Kinda show the regular people that you don't always need the best of the best professional products.
I thought this video was so satisfying to watch. Typically what would a service like this cost? Used to do detailing myself, but as I'm getting older and with injuries, bending and what not for hours polishing my car isn't fun to do myself anymore.
That was lovely. And also hilarious. I mean, that's a Porsche Cayenne and a Lambo in the background, and then there's this Subaru in the middle of them.
I respect the hell out of detailers, painters and panel benders. It's work I'm more than happy to pay someone else to do because I know full well I haven't got the patience to do myself.
It’s very rewarding though. I watched a few videos and did a full detail and ceramic coat and it feels very satisfying knowing you can repolish and recoat yourself whenever you need to
I've heard of cinematography, but this, surely, has to be microphonetography. Brilliant audio, just brilliant. P.S. great craft from the detailing technicians also, respect.
Good way to spend $1200...nice work from one car detailing professional to another looks like these are the guys to see if in Australia for great quality work
Looks beautiful! I had my RS3 ceramic coated and detailed like this and it really helps keep the car looking new, and when you wash it - it feels so much easier! Is that a ding I spot in the left passenger door at 9:21?
I'm not impressed by Subarus. This car, though. Best Levorg ever. Incredible video showing all the little bits and pieces that make the car look complete. Truly magical videography.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhh you have NO IDEA how bad it makes me feel so inadequate detailing my own car! but glimmers of hope she can be beautiful perfect again! like now its sub freezing and if I where to magically attempt would have no place to do it in without being a popsicle.
I appreciate its likely the lighting and camera you've used, plus whatever my monitor is doing but its looks more like an impossibly dark blue than black
i love cleaning my car by hand but fuck it's a pain in the ass to do these lads must great lower back and leg endurance to bend down and crouch for long periods of time
have a look at Esoteric Detail youtube channel - they use much the same products and equipment and very similar methods, and also goes through explainer videos of how to wash a car properly, how to polish properly, apply coatings and so on
Have a look at Car Craft Auto Detailing here on TH-cam. Melbourne based & Sandro is one of the best detailers on the planet. Plenty of how to videos & what & why products to use. Plus some pretty cool cars inc the R33 Skyline he had just done.
Never thought I'd see the day you lads would do an ASMR video... It's like two weird little worlds combining to create the demonic love child the world DEFINITELY didn't know it wanted.
My sti has about 110,000kms now. It's my daily and the amount of chips on the front and dents along the sides from other car doors mean my it'll never look this good.
saved for later - I have most of the kit used here to transform my car like this, only thing I'm missing is the expertise of a proper fulltime detailer. mine is red and has no clear coat, so this is also made more difficult.
One: Wash the wheels, like really wash em! Two: rise de car, lather from top to bottom. Three: clean and dry the windows. Four: remove hot dog from packet Five: with a steak knife cut into the hot dog tiny slashes that only go a quarter the way through the meat. Be sure to keep the slashes about a centimeter apart. Six: put the hot dog on a pan, heat the pan up and watch the dog curl up. Seven: while the dog is cooking, put a pair of sliced bread in the toaster oven. Eight: Ohh shit the car!!! Oh Faaak bois shes going spotty!! Awe frig me.... Nine: eat hot dog Ten: bring car to touch-less car wash.
If I had the money for a place like this I’d use it but since I don’t it’s: soaky -> soapy-scrubby-soaky2 then dry with a microfiber I found under the kutchen sink.
The amount of expertise it takes to keep a black car looking good, is amazing
A couple of young Aussie guys made a TH-cam video about making it Blaaaaaaaak a long time ago ;)
Red is definitely harder than black.
Don’t drive it, put it in a hermetically sealed garage. Done.
@@chrismackenzie3184 what
Great to see Marty blacked out the chrome trim below the side windows and the chrome strip between the tail lights. Looks so much better!
If you see this Marty, curious did you use the rubber door strips from an XV? Or paint/wrap all chrome including the boot trim?
@@GD-gl2sd I'm pretty sure, maybe? He said he got complete black trims from another car.
Holy smokes, don't the Pro's really know how to detail a car. The transformation was epic and the Levorg looks spectacular!
Not my expected MCM type video but nice to see another pro doing great work.
Also why it’s on second channel
The amount to detail on sound captured is awesome! Music to my ears. :)
We need a detailing video like this for every car in the MCM garage
I think you're onto something here.

A very nice job.
"Simple Tools" in the hands of Masters - Brilliant work, awesome result.
I mean... I'm no ASMR fan, but this, this was either not ASMR or it's just very very good. I do feel relaxed now....
People who don't like ASMR just don't know what ASMR is. ;)
It's ASMR, but the good kind of ASMR and is not annoying.

+1
the squeaking of sticky tires on epoxy flooring... now that's a shop that's been kept clean
That was lovely. And also hilarious. I mean, that's a Porsche Cayenne and a Lambo in the background, and then there's this Subaru in the middle of them.
Subliminally implied that Subaru is as good as the other two
so 2 vags and a subaru
Nice job. I took my GR Yaris there for PPF after seeing the Golf R done. Top outfit.
A good detail is so satisfying, such a great looking car now. Can't wait to hear it with the new donk in it. 🤘😎
Now the dents stand out more... PDR TIME!
this guy spent more time on the wheel than i have on my whole car. no wonder mine doesnt look 1 fraction as good lol

The amount of work this vid just created for Premium Detailing sydney is wholesome as fuk, and well deserved 👏
Small world! I taught Tom in band when he was in school a couple years back!
I've heard of cinematography, but this, surely, has to be microphonetography.
Brilliant audio, just brilliant.

The beauty of a black car !!!
Makes me want a black car
Dragging his hand through the dirt in the paint... I'm like "OH, GOD! DON'T DO THAT!" 😱
Same here, I thought yeh always start washing by adding more scratches 😂
Darn apprentices.
Don’t blame us! We were told to do this to show how rough the paint was. It was corrected to perfection afterwards though 😅
Got corrected anyway?
@@ivancc1018 yeah but it still creates a reaction when you first see it.
Isn't this man too young to star in an adult film? Also, has there ever been a more beautiful movie about detailing?
MASTERS of their craft, love to see it!
So good it's posted twice! Looks amazing those lads did a brilliant job
Wow this Video was Clean😄 good Work Guys!
I had a 308 LH Torana that I painted in Capricorn Mica.. I know the feels.
This was a nice relaxing watch at 2am.
This is the NOISIEST FUCKING ASMR ever. I came for Moog's soothing voice.
Even my sharingan can’t see dust anymore😅

Yep there are several around the car and surprised they were not taken our by a painless dent repair service before the ceramic coating was applied.
Awesome! It just needs a "GROVEL" badge for the rear and pulsating red demon-eye headlamps.
Everyone loves a clean sti,
I feel like this should be on the main MCM channel to reach more than the 33 viewers on this channel.
i thought there were 38 of us???????
Good to see they are an equal opportunity employer.
Love seeing rangas getting a fair go.
F..king love a good detail video, it's just so great what can be achieved,
Stunning job, needs some PDR on the rear passenger door to make it absolute perfection.
I'm confused as to why I got ASMR tingles from this!
Satisfying to a whole new level
You’s showed more close ups of the dude cleaning it than you did of the panels on the car 😂
Now I want to get my car resprayed, so I can have paint that nice 🤤
Larry from Ammo would be proud!
The wheel and tire cleaning were just 🤌
For a referee he's a. Bloody good detailer
Wheels and tires first. Must remember that. No more "Oops, I forgot to do the wheels!"

too bad this don't fix rock chips, and other driving crap that happens
This is really good 👍 Great attention to detail 🤙
That was so damn satisfying to watch!!
This was amazing - but those levels! I'd turn it up to hear a pad or something, then a power tool would blow my ears off! Still, great work guys
Excellent work, it really is a great looking car
7:53 that glove sound slaps!!!!!
Mmm, the relaxing sound of DA polishers 😂
This was satisfying ❤️
That one dent on the front fender has my eye twitching
Click-bait for fools. The veil is slipping, MCM Incorporated!
It started the episode looking cleaner than any of my cars...
Great work!
I appreciate its likely the lighting and camera you've used, plus whatever my monitor is doing but its looks more like an impossibly dark blue than black
its like video dame clean CRAZY!
The peril of shinny black car is that , every time you drive it, you will need to clean it.
Sad that this won't have an EJ25 anymore but an EZ30 sounds like a good idea too
I think (and sure hope) someone forgot to include the footage of the Levorg emblem cleaning! It looks so dirty in the post-clean closeup shot!
i love cleaning my car by hand but fuck it's a pain in the ass to do these lads must great lower back and leg endurance to bend down and crouch for long periods of time
