This track was not officially released so it has no real name. It plays during the first mob chase and during both Calvin Garret races. Composed by Brian Tyler.
1:40 You know that your opponent is an AI, but you take this race really personal as if you are up against a real person. You both line up on a straight and hilly road, about to experience the most intense showdown in the game, both cars lose traction from the continuously jumpy, hill-like road whilst you both fly by, near missing, the oncoming trucks with about 300kmh+ showing on your speedometer, you know that every single slight swivel of your car could be fatal. You are focused on the race, yet you notice with your peripheral vision that the light of your taillights fades for a fraction of a second from the flashes of the lightnings in the sky, not a single drop of rain though, then you suddenly see that your opponent passes you and you recall how the loading screen gave you a quick insight of his bio that this guy is not to be mess with. The duel is getting even more personal and tense, but you take the risk to press even further, knowing that a vehicle from the incoming traffic can pop out at any given moment from the hill ahead. You see yourself giving up, seeing that the road is seemingly endless, then you notice the red smoke in the distance with one final push through a curve slightly to the left. You see the end-race's cutscene with the dark sky in the background, helping you to see how the brake discs of your car are pulsating in heat from the pressure of the race you just gave them. Probably one of the best races in the whole series. Amazing gamе. ;))
I have e-mailed Mick Gordon about this track and Rival Race 3 and he said that "these sound like Brian". I guess that confirms that this track has indeed been composed by Brian Tyler.
Facts. There’s no technical turns on stage 6 like in the 2nd last race where you can use the racing line to your advantage. I litterly had to somehow take him out in stage 6 in order to win him and I played it on hard difficulty 😅
1:45 that time when i raced Calvin i wuz thinking that i wuz racing a real person like: going at a 2 lane road at 200mph and in a challange of who is the best risk taker, any kind of a mistake or touch chould end with a big mistake. it wuz one of the best boss races i have ever raced in nfs history, it rly got me in that adrenalin mode. it was amazing. rly enjoyed the game it wuz one of the best nfs games ever.❤️❤️ 💢🚗
Calvin usually reminds me of Toru Sato in NFS Most Wanted. Because his red Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and it's performance is pretty much the same design and technology as the black Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren of Toru.

Yeah that's pretty much the game. If Jack loses The Run, he's guaranteed to die to the mobsters, so he's going beyond his maximum to win it. Devin is a nutjob like Jack too.
I imagined a pretty awesome scenario for this BGM: A semi on a slightly crowded freeway in a major city secretly transporting a WMD to the designated location for deployment. The protagonist of this scenario finds himself/herself on top of trailer facing off against the leader of the splinter group heading the attack and the rest of their team is attempting to stop the truck at all costs. Now imagine that scene and put this music in there and tell me that doesn't sound epic!
