As a scooter person who is moped curious, I saw this and thought, man that's a sharp looking moped. haha At first glance, it didn't look like it was going to need so much love. Thanks for the videos. All very direct and well laid out. I learn a lot every time I watch another.
Yeah man! They are perfect for taller people. You know anything about the Revolution? Its 100% a scooter! Takes all scooter parts and doesnt have pedals.
@@Corn-ped Do you see more Derbi models in your area? Around here Derbi Senda is the queen of 50cc. Nice Derbi Variant Revolution the last of the Variant saga.
How is it a scooter? To me a scooter must either have floorboards or a CVT. That doesn't seem to have either. I noticed it doesn't have pedals, but to me that makes it a noped, not a scooter.

Yeah it needs work but should be good
Best video yet!
Thank you!
A bike from Jake is held together with zipties???
I know it’s like a scooter. But being a talker dude. I always liked the size and shape of the variants

I would say Derbis are rare here. I have seen 2 sendas in 10 years. Maybe 3 revolutions? Most of our derbis are old 1970/80s Variant versions.
I don't know who'd confuse it for a moped as it has no pedals... ;-)
They are cool, though. I have a couple of flat reed derbis and they're fantastic.
Its got pedals now!!!
I have the same scooter question is there a battery or only manual start

moped purists get mad that its so fast so they call it a scooter
Bent a few tomos axles in my day
Haha yeah me too. This was just a surprise
I BROKE an 11mm puch one during a ride last year. Major bummer.
@@bjf10 I have stripped a couple 10mm puch studs. but never an 11.
@@Corn-ped Yeah, the rear axle on mine snapped about half an inch in from the brake plate. instagram.com/p/CFYcxu_HSdQ/
