Your channel has helped me a lot on brushing up on proper procedure before heading off to lab work. You are truly doing great work here, I am very thankful!
Really I appreciate your explanation it was amazing ,,just I a m wondering why you pour the gel before butting the comp , The right before or after pouring the gel ? @ sci visa lab
+riya sharma Hi! I'm probably not the person that you are looking for :P But, if you load samples in the well before the buffer, they will wash away when you add the buffer. Hope that helps :)
This video is the best on TH-cam to understand the concept. Tip- watch it at 1.25 speed. 🙂
LOVE YOU MOM!!! This video was great.

Thanks for the demo! Heading out to lab now, it was a very good way to get ready.
Thanks for the demo! Can't express how awesome your channel is. Doesn't get the hits it deserves! We need more science in our lives :P

It made me nervous that there wasn’t a lab coat involved with the gel that included ethidium bromide 😬
a very wonderful demonstration, I learned a lot. thank you so much
Thank you! Today I have Micro lab class to do the electrophoresis and the transformation. Thank you for helping me!

TO PREVENT DNA degradation and also control theph
Why are we using running buffer
What variables shold be kept constant during gel electrophoresis and how?
+Syeda Nipun You would want to keep the pH constant, which the buffer will automatically do (along with providing ions for the current to flow).
Thanks Artsy Corner
EtBr is an interlocating agent...i'm sure this is a new box, but i wouldn't be touching any of that stuff w/out gloves.

Once I worked in a lab where people drank coffee at their benches and stored rusty sharps on magnets set at eye level. People are stupid.
