If anyone's wondering where his farm is head over to 7:55 and whilst he's talking about rotating your farmer and barn workers, the mini map is showing as to where the farm is. And what a great guide, Simply_Syrup! You earned a sub. Hope this helps!
Another 5-star video! I'm not nearly as far into the game as you, but your tips are absolutely 100% useful, as always! No cheap tricks, just honest advice from experience. Thank you!
I really appreciated the thanks and not being pushy asking to sub. I get annoyed at channels pushing to sub like it’s gonna save their life. Being sincere and seeming like you’ll appreciate it not you expect it was refreshing.
I know I'm late on this one. But this is incredibly useful, and I have watched it several times to help me get the best stuff growing. Interestingly enough I have found there is an "early game" crop rotation that is needed and strong and then there's a late game one. I think end game you can have all the crops you need without rotation. But I enjoy the rotation part of it so even end game for me I follow my late game crop rotation. I'll just make bigger farms. Anyways, that was a long and roundabout way of saying thank you. This is an incredibly helpful and informative video and I appreciate the time and effort you put into this so that other's games can be enjoyable. Cheers
Really well put together video, well explained and very knowledgeable. Appreciate it g 🙏🏼 at least I know I’m growing the right crops for my animals and such. Would it be better to manually change the crops they are planting since those 2 can’t be grown at the same time? I basically got half a field working year round lol
Now THIS is what I was looking for. I do want everything in my village, produce and sell every craftable item, and make a town from Gostovia to Hornica. Yeah, that's about 2 million people. But I need something to keep them cleverly satiated, and that's were you come in. Hey, Syrup, in which village can I find and hire you ??? ^^^^^^
Oats actually have a fun use also. Oat Ale can be made using only water, oats, and beer bottles. I always grow more oats then rye as oats can make hooch so easily. Hops for beer can only be harvested once per year.
Just found this game and holy moly am i glad for your straight forward tips. I can see myself playing this game for awhile thanks to the help of these videos.
That is so awesome when content creator go so deep in games and are willing to explain game mechanics to new or returning players. We in Mortalisgame are also looking and observing different content creators who are willing and interested to talk about Mortalis world some day.
Awesome video one of the best iv seen simple and to the point, i was wondering whats the best way to get and create fertilizer im new to the game and good set up going so far now trying to set the farm up to be efficient. so far i been just gathering berrys and letting them rot out n make fertilizer through rot...whats a better so i can actually make it through the other seasons when the berrys are out of season
The best tip is to not worry about rotations. There’s no system in the game where you can change your crops. The best thing you can do is prepare the fields for the next harvest or wait until the crops are harvested. EXAMPLE: I planted 25 flax, 25 cabbage and 50 oats by myself in Spring. Then 50 cabbage in Summer. If I select another crop or clear it out in the management tab, the farmers will clear it. So I need another field for carrots and more 50 fields for flax and grain, two for each. And I want to relocate the oats and change the field to something else before Spring. Because oats can only be planted in Spring, I can change the field as it’s being fertilized. This is so much better than doing it myself.
A great video! But to be honest i was hoping for tips to get enough fertilizer, especially early game. Talking as someone who put their village a long way from merchants that sell it
Pick berry's and let them turn to rot!!! Then turn rot into fertilizer!! That's the easiest way I figure out!!! Plus any other old food that rots!! Lol
Besides picking berries if you plant a ton of cabbage and let some rot it will have a good return on how much fertilizer u can get as you get 4 Rot per cabbage. If you average 8 cabbage per square that’s 32 rot getting you over 3 fert per square. Great for early game when u might not need as much food but want to get started and farming.
when i started out i was making stone knives and simple bags, then going to every single vendor in the game and cleaning them out. if you have enough stuff to sell, you can earn anything up to 57,000 coins each season. even if you did half the vendors you'd have plenty cash for fertiliser. once you're fully automated you'll never gave to worry about anything again
You really have to put in the time picking green berries for fertiliser early game. It takes nothing but a little effort standing in a patch of berries which are extremely plentiful. Make compost bins and fill with 600 each and on season turn make the rot into fetiliser. Buy 5 flax seeds and your million gold empire is under way!
This video is good at explaining how it works but not how to manage theworkers or set up the fields. I don't know how to do so and it is starting to be frustrating.
Thanks for the Video, already a subsciber. Wold very much love to se one based on Tax and why buildin and removing a building incresses Tax, even if you remove your construction.
When you say on tip number 5 about watching out for worker preparing fields instead of harvesting, if they are preparing what can you do to stop them so they harvest ?
I learned the last tip yesterday. I was like why are you fertilizing when I have a field already fertilized and ready to go for you to plant rye. I even had the other fields marked as clear in the management area. When she was done for the day of the last day of the season I ended up planting the rye and I was short about 15 spots before it changed seasons :/ Wish there is a way I can choice what fields she works on while ignoring the ofher fields 😬
hi🙂Did you find out how to make them straight? I've built by following beginning instructions in the game. Now, it's asking me to layout a field but the blueprint won't match up to the buildings i've already layed! So frustrating.
How do you come by so much manure to start with? Animals and manure are quitte expensive. I just finished the story and have a baby. But just 10000 in money. With 10 villagers
It doesn't seem to matter what food you give the villagers as they are happy eating nothing but roasted meat all year. The devs should add the ability for the villagers to use the cooking pot to make their own stews, potages etc...Or maybe make the type of food matter more as it is a waste of time to cook anything for them.
I really hoped that you would have given information to make fertiliser for your fields, rather than to go and buy it, so sorry your video is not complete. 🙁
I just started this game and it seems overwhelming! This video helped lots..thanks!
Your fields are so huge and well placed. I have so much to look forward to in this game! So exciting, and thanks for the video!

Dude... the location u choose is awesome. Your village also!!! Keep doing my friend. u made a nice game even nicer!
I just found this on gamepass and have been blown away by this game. Your videos are much appreciated syrup!
Great video, thanks for the pointers
Thank you for this comprehensive video, you answered more than few questions for me, I'm really enjoying the relaxed pace of this game.
I never thought of rotating rosters during off-seasons. Thanks!

@@SprinklerMonkey_ Yeah that 's also what I thought... There are just so many of them, berries truly are amazing.

I mostly used poppy to decorate the village in earlier versions. They do look pretty.
Great video really came in handy
Where is your farm placed?
On the ground
Selling buckets or stone daggers at start helps get farm funded at start.
This video is good at explaining how it works but not how to manage theworkers or set up the fields. I don't know how to do so and it is starting to be frustrating.
Good video ol son!!

Had to stop watching at 9:00 because I was getting too dizzy
I planted my wheat in autumn and it's spring now but can't harvest them?
Same problem. I’m guessing if u plant wheat in autumn u harvest in summer instead of spring maybe idk?
How do you lay fields straight mine will only go on the works axis

@@Tekknowgerllate reply but... fields only plant north/south or east/west
But where do you get your seeds in early game...
Where is this farm spot at that's what I want to know?
Thanks
How big are your fields?
thankyouu
How do you come by so much manure to start with? Animals and manure are quitte expensive. I just finished the story and have a baby. But just 10000 in money. With 10 villagers
Somehow I got to year 3 without farming but I had 3k roasted meat in my food storage lol
What does that mean that onions have layers?
Shrek reference
Onions have layer's. Hahaha that's gold
To summaries.... onions have layers 😂
Earned a sub with that reference

I don't understand the management screen at all
I didn't know medieval dynasty was 3rd person?
He dident mention how to make a lot of money to buy said seeds ...
Good video, but the moving of the mouse while harvesting in the end of the video is very annoying and i got very dizzy by watching it
Turn the music down or off on the next video
farming tutorial
But in the real world... poppy is the best thing to plant for money... probably not for poppy-seed buns, though :D
This dude needs a mic filter holy shit
Loved the video until the last part when you started that nauseating movement while harvesting. Made me stop watching.
I really hoped that you would have given information to make fertiliser for your fields, rather than to go and buy it, so sorry your video is not complete. 🙁
Pick up unripe berries in a season and leave them on the floor. The next season it will be rot and you can assign a villager to make fertilizer
