At the time of Heneral Luna (2015) was filmed. The Manila-Dagupan railway tracks (built in 1892) were nonexistent already. The film settings of battlefields during the Philippine-American War in "Heneral Luna" had taken place in the now defunct Mainline North just for historical accuracies sake.
