be watching this one closely, been thinking about swapping out my 13:1 shs for bigr's also but my current setup is SS 4 teeth, so the bearing for the tappet instead of a spigot was concern because it took a bit of work to get this build tuned and to get timing on point
Hi there, so I purchased some very similar gears and I have an issue with the “foil” separating the two sections of the sector gear, it’s faulty and I could simply remove it however I can’t remove the bearing to get to the hex screw that holds the two sides together. Any suggestions? 🇬🇧👍🏻
Seen these gears labeled as a different brand for nearly the same price as SHS. What's your take on their quality? I'm not a fan of the separation of the shaft and the gear. Seems as though the gear could shift side to side which would make shimming nearly pointless.
Hello, I want to make a configuration with 13:1 gears of semi-automatic ultra fast and silincious (that the motor and gears sound as little as possible). But I don't know which motor is going to be better for what I'm looking for, the one with the 30k or the 35k. Which do you think
@@hiroshimascreamer5884 Thank you very much for answering, but I have a question, why will the 25k tienly motor give a better semi-automatic if the 30k motor also combines some high speed?
Hmmm probably something around 25k so it has a bit of speed and still have some trigger response I guess. I really like the tienly brand. Might be getting my hands on a warhead 25-30k brushless motor soon...fingers crossed
@@hiroshimascreamer5884 ohh man i emailed them a while ago trying to get one brushless is superior when it comes to efficiency and torque and speed its sick shit
Hey mate! Great video keep them coming so keen to see how it turns out. Cheers for all your help on gel blaster forum to 👍.
Best gelsoft content in the world!
Nice vid mate, will be tuning in on next👍👍👍
Sick vid man love your content always wondered what the big R gear sets are like because I keep seeing them online
Bro this couldn't come at a better time. I just got the same set.

Awesome video ... please keep them coming.
Cheers bud
Had nuprol's with bearings and 40k motor and 14.8v lipo. Shot full auto about 1second and the gears with bearings where broken
I run the big rrrr 18:1 with a 25k motor and have not had a problem with the bearing on the sector get 330fps and 22rps

What size wire do you run in such high rps builds?
Hey mate can i ask? How's the brr gear as of today is it still working fine?

They’re ok, quality is good. More suitable more basic to mild builds I think.
Great video and skill. Have you come across Tokyo Marui Samarium Cobalt high torque motor and how does it compare to Teinly?
Sorry bud, haven’t come across that motor yet so can’t comment 👍🏼
@@hiroshimascreamer5884 thanks mate
Hey bud, just seen those motors.
I might get one to try 👍🏽
Did you purchase the screw QSC's directly from retroarms?
Whisky Son brought them from vulcan arms.com.au
hey bud dose the zci bearing advance gears work with a gate aster? + iv subbed love the vids buddy
Hey mate, sorry no idea
Supershooter gears are exactly the same but 25 bucks cheaper, im running a m140 spring in my wells with the supershooter and it has yet to 'pop'.
Ok cool, hopefully these hold up too!

Ivan 25k or a frankentorque would be better for ultra fast semi auto. Even an ASG 28TPA motor would suit.

What is your favorite motor to use in 13:1 ratio gearset builds

bb/s?
If you buy a stronger motor would you need a stronger spring?
Depends, generally yes but not always.
Too many factors eg. gear ratio, motor speed, spring ratio etc etc
@@hiroshimascreamer5884 hmm ok thankyou do you know if a valken kilo would work with a 30k or 35k motor thankyou in advance
Do you do builds for people
Bubba t Gelsoft will be soon, setting up now. Probably in a month or two
Where can I order a 1 piece cylinder ?
Most GB stores sell them, command elite, Vulcan arms, RPM tech etc etc
300-340fps? wow.. game site in my place has 450fps limit ... my gun is overkill for being 585fps
Airsoft?
