    Oh look, it's the most iconic class of the game: Regular Dood.

    Used to like Humar on version 2, but once they took away SD from him ggs. Its a shame he isnt really needed in mutiplauer sessions.

    I have always just kinda thought HUmar was more so for getting right into the battle making the enemies move a bit differently and taking some hits. I would always up my defense, evasion, and hp points as much as I could with mats and help my party by "tanking" essentailly not that its really needed but in this sense HUmar is super rounded out and I can't express how much the mobs focusing down someone other than the ranger or caster helps with what they're doing. Oh yeah and just going for it with smartlink to be a ranger is sick also lol :D awesome video thank you!!!

      Oh definitely, any HU (including HUmar) can do a great job rounding up enemies and keeping them off the other classes. I don't want anyone to feel HUmar is the 'wrong' class to pick.
      Most of its issues can be ironed out with good gear anyway, so don't worry about playing a HUmar!

    Okay, without watching the vid, a lot of folks may say that other classes do Humar's jobs better, but there is one job that Humar is undeniably the top dog in. Phase one Vol glitch/lock. Even with the reduced tech casting speed (since 15 is max) your natural ATP on the right setup with strong gear can lock phase 1 vol to death in minimal casts.
    Also, I guess they're the best solo class or something, but who's gonna care about that? Edit: Maybe not, though. S+D on Huney does make a big diff.
    I'd like to defend mah boi, but it's all true. The lack of shifta/deband, the low techs, no traps, etc. makes Humar kinda mid, but he's still a fun and versatile option who can perform well in end-game.

      HUmar is great at the Vol lock, but that's one very specific area. I didn't highlight that because these videos are designed more as a general class overview.
      I did try to state in the video that HUmar will still do fine in most areas, it's just that you have to work around some of the drawbacks.

      @@SectionSkyly I know the vol lock is very niche, I just gotta look for whatever silver linings I can on him. It was the first class I played on DC and the first one I played on Ephinea, I'll always stan for Humar, even when I know he's not the greatest. Sunk cost fallacy is real (jk).

    HUmar, my main on the Dreamcast. I'd say the description of HUmar being a balanced and beginner class is more accurate on the DC as he had access to lvl 15 S&D. Honestly, he was probably OP solo when compared to HUcast and i can see why he was nerfed.
    On top of it all, he could use an S-Rank Needle in Ver.2.
    I'm thinking of shipping my Diwari over to my HUcaseal. It's not much but at 200 IQ it can grant a lvl 6 S&D entering a boss fight. Also does the same at 100% PB but in that situation may as well use M&Y. Or, use M&Y after lvl 6 S&D expires.

      On PSOBB I used to know someone who had a HUmar that (somehow) had Shifta. It was a weird bug with his account which Sega never fixed 😂

    The kasami bracer description "boost movements" is a reference to the evp it gives since it's one of the highest evade shield in the game.
    Also, you didnt mention having hit on yungchan, i remember when i used to played I hunted for a hit yungchan for months but no luck, wasnt able to trade for one either 'cause nobody had one, is it even possible to get one with hit?

    • @SectionSkyly
      @SectionSkyly  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If a weapon can drop from a monster, it can drop with Hit. It's just a low chance, and as Yunchang is a fairly difficult drop it's harder to get one with Hit. It is possible though. Also, all of these class videos are on Ephinea's sandbox mode, which lets you spawn anything you want so that's why everything has Hit here!

    how do you display the boss's or enemy's health bar?

    • @SectionSkyly
      @SectionSkyly  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      On Ephinea Blue Burst it's enabled by default. If you're playing on another server or on a different version of the game (like Gamecube for example) you won't have health bars visible.

    Humar is a sad class, hardest solo and parties with forces would rather have a cast and parties without forces would rather have a hunewearl.

    • @SectionSkyly
      @SectionSkyly  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      HUmar is definitely one of the harder classes to use well, for sure. I tend to play HUnewearl instead but you can still play HUmar fine. It's just going to be a little harder to solo effectively.
