Congrats on the amazing SVR!. I had a V6 for about five years and have been looking for it's replacement for over 2 years after a teenage driver smashed into me and totaled it. I miss that car every day. It was more than a car, most people don't understand. Enjoy you new F-Type!
You only live once, get yourself an R. I had a V6 for 3 years until a deer ran out in front of me. Just got an R and it's incredible. Definitely worth it. ❤
I love your SVR, reminds me of my old SVR MY2019 which is miss SO much! - Question, I thought the seats and headlights in your car was a part of the MY2019 facelift? Or am I mistaken? Also with your SVR being a MY2018, does it have the original sound or did it get the PPF filter which muted the sound? I'm going to buy a SVR again in a few short Years, just need to get through the whole baby stage with my family.. :P
Mine is a car from in between prefacelift and facelift! So all internals and engine etc are all from facelift hence why I was able to retrofit the 10” screen. Defo no PPF on mine as it sounds awesome!
I am not understanding this. You call your yourself "fun to drive" and you have not commented on it once. All comments congratulate you on your purchase; let me know what I am missing, please.
Just got shot of my v6 after nothing but trouble over 14 months, total spent on repairs which included two banks of injectors was over 7k. This car had 55000 miles with FMDSH so not an abused example. Never again, beautiful but totally unreliable.
Nice one buddy! Now that is what I call a trade! SVR! I'd like to know what you instantly felt in the difference with the V6, not necessarily the performance in speed as that's a given, but the overall drive and handling in comparison, as you get to know the car. I have the V8 R and to be honest I think a step up to the SVR wouldn't be that much of a difference for myself, but the interior trim is obviously better and the exterior also looks superb. Great colour also and you won't need to wrap the trims :) I wish you all the best with it and definitely looking forward to more content with the SVR!!
@@chrisferns5352nope its not.. Porsche design bought by ford..and after jaguar took it and made big changes vs coyote Mustang engine..2 different engines
I’m an American and the F Type is my dream car. Looks and sounds amazing !

Blimey! Sorry to hear that, I had a Porsche 911 previously and had to spend over £20k on issues so I know your pain!
That’s very high mileage dude.
Fix the air bends in front..water gets in and destroy injectors..easy fix if you knew it from before
@@commantrosexetlos4700 nope, not on mine, its the AWD so the bonnet vents are in a different position and dont cause that issue
@@philscars all of them seized? At the same time or you prefer to change them all
I love mine. But it’s a proper one. Five litre.
Hehe, my new one is a proper proper one, it’s an SVR!
Love this car, it could have a manual version too
Wish I had. Congratulations!🎉

Do it! They are an amazing car!
Yes you are absolutely right going for the V8 👍🏻
I know, should have done it from the start
Nice
Thanks
Is Jaguar still using Ford engine?
I knew the fact that the intake placement was similar but never pondered the fact!
Nope its a range rover v8 minus 2 cylinders

Too bad it will break in 1 week
What will?
Click bait
in what way? I did wish I hadnt bought a V6 and got an SVR the first time!!
V6? Why the hell would you waste money on that?
It wasn’t a waste, it was a great car!
What you on about? 😂
