All the different stitches you showed are really pretty and your embroidery stitches were beautiful . I was taught embroidery in school as a teenager and embroideries on a jacket and entered it in the fair and won a blue ribbon for it. I haven’t embroidered since then and I’m 64. Your blouse you’re making is going to be beautiful. I can’t wait to see the final result. I can’t wait to see your new video.

Hi Astghik - Welcome to Flosstube! Interesting to see age-old Armenian embroidery techniques. If you get discouraged with your third piece, you could consider leaving off part of the top (just sky) and the right-hand side and just leave the ladies to embroider. Good luck!

It's done with just a needle and thread. In Armenia we also do tatting, thats the other technique I haven't learned yet. We call it "Little Maqok", there is another one called "Big Maqok". All this teqniques are for lace making, plus bobbin lace, which we call "Gobenak". I really want to make a video about all this staff, but can not manage it yet. Hope I can do it soon.
Yes, I would love to see all the Armenian needle work. I would love to learn because I’m Armenian as well & I feel I should have learned from my grandmother.
