The one thing I have learned about women over the years is that if a man is NOT ugly, that mean he is cute _enough_ to date (i.e., have sex), marry or even have his child. All women make that kind of evaluation in regards to men. It is those men will be successful with women in the long term. And those women will assert that he is good looking because he is _not ugly_ (I hope you read into that carefully). This is only to indicate that he is NOT ugly. There is a distinction.

I don’t mean to sound insensitive, but I swear some women go out of their way to bring chaos and misery into their lives. This guy had a known, serious drinking problem long before you moved him into your house. He cheated on you early in the relationship and ha otherwise shown himself to be unreliable, irresponsible and generally untrustworthy. Yet, here we are. Why?

I know where's she's coming because I've been there. When you love a guy more than he loves you and you believe him everytime he says he will change or when you try to leave he says he loves you just to make you stay and you start thinking maybe you are the problem and not him. So you keep changing for him. But the thing is you have to love yourself first before you can love anyone and you got to get to the point where you recognize that this shit is just too much to endure and move on. I keep telling people, there is nothing like having your peace of mind.

The man who he is you are living with. He is an alcoholic, you can't fix him. He needs to find help if he wants to overcome his addiction. I am amazed at people who think that staying around for someone else to realize their own potential (while they are being mistreated by that person) is the path to lasting happiness. Suppose that person never reaches their "potential"? You have wasted years on a lost cause. What I know for sure, a person who has an addiction will not get help until they want it, you can't make them get help, or wish they get help, threaten them to get help or love them enough to get help.

This here irks my soul. We are so quick to blame men for our getting played, when oftentimes we are the ones playing ourselves. Believing in him and his potential shouldn't be enough to stay in a jacked up relationship. Raise your standards. Judge Toler was right. In a few years, she'll wake up and realize her mistake. Maturity doesn’t necessarily come with age. Learn to Love 💕 yourself I had to learn that after 3yrs of marriage which led to a divorce which was painful but I learned from it so I don’t have to experience that again.
