I'm glad she's going again. I rode this train many times when I was young at the Birmingham Zoo. I just got home from the zoo tonight working our Glow Wild event we are having this year, been driving our 20 year old CP Huntington "George Siebles" all evening. I really miss this train and I need to come and see her.
I adore Miniature Train Company g16's which this is. The first one built ran in Griffith Park, Los Angeles for decades. It is now located on a private estate near Lodi, California.
Love the Atlantic Coast Line paint
Those have the best sounding horns! Glad to see it alive and running again!

Great story and history. And yes, you do need to stop by the museum with your family and ride her again!
