I smoked DMT and coincidentally this song was on my playlist and it caused me to breakthrough. I wasn't a big fan of it but it is a key to a different dimension or something. I will get around to asking others if it works for them. I think it distracts the mind just to kickstart the breakthrough or it's beautiful enough to calm the mind into something literally....out of this world
God! I'm so used to listening to The Escapist, that I was waiting for Chris's voice. I've always loved The Escapist, so, unsurprisingly, I love the work that it sampled from
@farfromsensible Nah nah, it wasn't sampled from Viva La Vida. Jon Hopkins wrote this song (Light Through Veins) and put it in Viva La Vida as well. Since he produced Viva La Vida. Coldplay didn't produce Viva La Vida.
Magnificent Man I know, that's exactly my point. They're saying that Viva la Vida The Escapist is sampled FROM light through the veins and not the other way around.
Cannot comprehend the level of genius this guy is, thank you Hopkins, you made me reach a place of peace with my childhood experiences, this song will forever give me feelings I cannot even describe, from the bottom of my heart thank you for existing 🥰🥰
Jon, yes, you, I love you.your composition, your style....is simply perfect..... you are a beautiful, extraordinary, deep, old soul.my dream is to meet you , someday.for the moment, thank you.
Each color is a wavelength, like sound. You can press the key of a piano and a color may appear in response to that note in the musical scale. If the integration of all colors is white, can you imagine the beauty of the integration of all frequencies of sound? If you knew that even you are a vibrational energy with its own frequency and therefore, you're music and color.
Hi Jon, I'm a musician whose main instrument is piano and likes to compose ambient, atmospheric, deep and electronic things. So can you let me know what is the sound ( sth like rhythmic pad) coming from the deep and rises, evident at 3:55 thanks master.
Still listening in 2021. I had the full length song on my iPod way back then, I heard Coldplay’s song and fell in love, found Jon’s song by accident and recognized it immediately. I cherish this song so much. I love that Chris Martin still shouts out Jon’s music too.
I loved this piece before I connected to a wonderful woman I once knew. Now I love it more because it suitably speaks to the wonderful woman's ways and effects. Her name was Jody.
This is absolutely masterful. Hey Jon, Are you reading these still? I have a rare form of synesthesia and I think, from the name alone, we are alike in imaginative abilities. Do you talk to electronics through the clicks and whirrs? I do. They tell me how to complete tasks and how to operate them. Everything is a mathematical puzzle to me and I freaking LOVE PUZZLES! I fix things around the house all the time and make art in many forms. If you respond and are interested I would be honored to show you some of what I am working on. Hella fun! Thank you for making this and I truly am inspired and enthralled by your art.
love, love this track! Should have made an real video for this also ? Can almost imagining it.. PS. Incredible interesting to study on the 13 Chakra teachings. Many alternative think we have only 7, but it´s way more intereseting when we think we have 13, which many of them actually are lined up with our vital organs ++ Also there is something called Colorology which is the teaching of how the chakras are connected to the organs ++ A univers of light.. way more adanced than we can ever understand :)
+Maxime Deleus In fact, is from Viva la Vida, The song is called 'The escapist', and it appears im the end of the final track 'Death and all is fiends'
Yes, and don't forget the wonderfull track "Life In Technicolor" wich introduces the album "Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends" from Coldplay, and as you say, The Escapist closes the album at the end of the last track, "Death And All His Friends" ;) I Love Coldplay !!!!
@@nicolaswerl.1998 I know I’m responding to a year old comment but it was the original life in technicolor made for vlv not 2 which was made for prospects march
@@warmfish5732 oh yeah I know, it’s just that that version of Life in Technicolor when played at the end of the album includes a part with lyrics that some call The Escapist. Here it is: th-cam.com/video/SEoV6lJzNI0/w-d-xo.html

Just noticed I wrote this under an announcement for the singularity 😂

This isn't sampled from viva la vida. Jon Hopkins prodcued viva la vida. This is his song, he wrote it.
Magnificent Man that's what they mean "the work it was sampled from"

Meaning light through the veins is seen as the original to the op, which it is
True beauty. Jon Hopkins deserves fame and admiration as one of the far, far best in the league.
Truly, he does. I want to hear his music on the radio!
Yes
If every concept of heaven and beyond was encapsulated in a song, it would be this. Jon Hopkins is a universal ambassador of sound.

I do. Shook me to my core when first lostened to it.
I’ve never heard a music that produces that much emotion, thank God Jon, I’m glad you’re alive and existing.
I love the original and David Holmes remix, both represent two sides of the same beautiful musical emotion. ❤🎉
If awakening of life in a person was an audio, this is the go-to song! Amazing music.. oh love don’t let me go..
I love how this is in one of Coldplay's songs, Death and all his friends
And in the end we lay awake. And we dream of making our escape.
and they collabed to have it at the beginning of Life in Technicolor too
Cannot comprehend the level of genius this guy is, thank you Hopkins, you made me reach a place of peace with my childhood experiences, this song will forever give me feelings I cannot even describe, from the bottom of my heart thank you for existing 🥰🥰
I feel every word - the emotions and inner movies this masterpiece creates are beyound words...

My best ever music light through the veins...it really brings happiness into me...so good refreshing music
I much prefer the long version of this song, especially the ending, which stirs my emotions for the bittersweet.
