    You can’t say bucks lost because of Giannis getting injured. He tweaked his ankle in game 4 if I remember correctly. Bucks were loosing 3:0 before Giannis’s injury. Heat just had a good plan to play Bucks

  • @SoTiredButWired

    Looked to me like Giannis' shoe actually *gripped too hard* and the momentum of his movement carried him into an ankle roll. I didn't see any sliding there. If you look at his left foot at the same instant you can see it grab-release-grab-release as well. It's not an issue on that one because he doesn't have all his weight on it.
    Definitely sliding in your video, but not in Giannis'. Still don't like the shoe, though.

    • @JAHRONMON

    • @jayyyhammm
      @jayyyhammm 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is what from my experience of playing and coaching. Traction was too good his plant stuck and his body weight cause his ankle to take the roll. Worst traction won’t ever roll an ankle because you slide out.

      It most def did. Twice actually.

  • @thiennguyen9747
    @thiennguyen9747 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I think you’re not correct
    In that clip, giannis planted with poor bio mechanic, so his forefoot took all the stopping force down the floor, and we can saw as the force moved down to the heel, the heel traction gave-out, as the heel lifted slightly and the impact force went up his leg, the forefoot traction experience something called “static friction”, That caused his ankle mobility n strength to break down n he sprained his ankle
    Basically because the heel traction slipped out + the forefoot bite too hard + the poor biomechanic and he probs had weak ankle by that time, that all explained why Giannis sprained in that play,
    I havent tried the freak 2 but i think the issue about it is because the overall support isnt account for when the player stopping hard with the heel portion slipping out hence the result of injuries
    I think kuzma sprained in kobe 4 and bradley sprained also in kobe 4 are pretty much the same issue with the freak 2- you can search for the clips, they all slipped out on the heel not because of bad traction but more because of the way they planted their foot unveiled the “flaw” of their footwear, but its more of a bad biomech imo,
    I mean, lebron tweaked his ankle n went off dunking n finished the playoff 🤷🏻‍♂️ and his shoes were hella high off
    Personally, i think it isnt nike fault here, i think Giannis probs wanted his freak 2 to be the way it is, Giannis has histories with ankle sprains and he has been getting lots of injuries because of his play style and how the league has figured out how to stop him from running down the paint last season.
    Freak 2 sucks.
    Bron mvp got robbed.

    Are these shoes good for running

  • @GuigaRizzo
    @GuigaRizzo 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I saw another review earlier this year and the guy said that he felt insecure on this shoe as well. Also, when he was guarding someone, that lateral part where ends the forefoot part of the outsole, where looks like a razor, gave him some inconsistent grip, where he felt his foot almost rolling. Visually, it's "freaky" awesome, however, i was heard about how bad performer this shoe is.

    on court just get a wet towel and another one that is dry then wet the bottom of the shoes then slightly dry them then the grip will be outstanding

    You have to get these in a half size up or your pinkies will bleed.... I had these but they don’t have much cushion and the grip wasn’t good after 2 weeks of playing. The kd13 is ridiculous. I recommend getting the kd’s

    If anything Giannis turned his ankle because it gripped too hard, stopped, while his foot was still moving or shifting his weight in the shoe. The uppers probably need to support or contain better, not the grip.

    I just received zoom freak 2s in the mail today and am super worried if I play in them and get injured because of the shoe!!!
    For anyone who has them or can try on a pair can you confirm for me, do you slide to the inside of your foot? I tried them on and it was like my foot slid inside from the whole footbed. So if lhs was on it would slide to the right slightly actually not slightly alot! Also, is nike purposefully cutting its laces they seem so short these days! ! I might just keep them and not play in them. Help Giannis!!!???!

  • @lifeofeli99

    It's just bad foot work, planting heel first causing it to bounce off the ground, transferring the force to the forefoot, causes the forefoot biting the floor, heel off the ground, forefoot biting the floor, foot will tip, ankle will tweek

    I see it time and time again, if you’re a big man or someone over 200 lbs you need shoes with ankle support / hightops. These kids trying to look cool in these low tops are fools. To be honest I occasionally play in low tops “Hoka1”but I where ankle compression sleeve & a brace. I’ve had friends out for a whole year because of an ankle injury.
