During the interrogation scene, I noticed how Collin was the only one with a light shining on him and not on the other cherubs. I like how this implies that his moral compass will lead him to redemption.

I think it will be key that Collin overcomes his Stockholm syndrome as he seems to justify his treatment by trying to be helpful to everyone and seeing it as just something he has to do for others good I think if he’s able to realize his “friends” don’t really care about doing the right thing and only care about there vendetta he might be able to break through there attempts to gaslight him.
It would be epic and funny if Collin tells the other Cherubs including Deerie the F-Bomb, he finally sticks it to them that leads him back into Heaven.

I can see the M&M’s semi-adopting him until he finds a way back into heaven.
Collin is an idealist, the member of C.H.E.R.U.B. that really and truly believes in the stated cause and genuinely wants to help others. He hasn't become jaded or cynical nor does he take a 'holier than thou' attitude. But because of his dedication and drive, the others drop all the mundane work onto him. Heaven, Earth, or Hell, Collin could do a lot of good if paired with the right folk. The problem is he's a doormat, a sheep that follows the herd even when it is clear it's a bad idea to. He's easily bullied and swayed into what the others want. I really do hope that in some point in the show he'll be able to break free and find others with similar ideals.

Honestly, Collin is just so relatable to me, he's amazing.
idk why but i have an idea in my head where Cletus and Keenie in an effort to escape the imps after another murder attempt just abandon Collin and leave him for dead, The imps take him hostage in a attempt to get him to tell them information he wouldn't talk, and after like a couple if hours Collin sees the amount of both wholesomeness from Moxxie and Millie and how depressed Blitz is from what happened in the most recent episode...and just with the utmost goodness in his heart explains how the cherubs are getting to hell and what is happening in heaven. It probally wont happen but theories must be made for a show such as this

I said this before on an Ayy Lmao short, but if Collin does get back, who's to say that it would be a complete fire of panic and confusion because of Sir Pentious's redemption changing the rules?
I think that poster when collin does paperwork is placed there by colleagues to justify their bad behaviour.
I've always written Collin as a wholesome sweetheart, even when he was the fall guy who had both a sense of morality but a duty bound duty to Heaven and what it stands for, even in his worst of times. The only time he swears is in the most literal sense of any word which is unusual for me. He's used as a full guy, a frame and a plot device whenever I use him because of the person he is. Personally I wish nothing but the best for him, he clearly wants nothing to do with any of this and is the willing fall guy for a lot of things, more than he should be but I've seen people like him, I've been people like him and I know the struggle that it is to keep your faith in the face of adversity, not quite to this extent but I respect him all the more for it.
Honestly I would love it if in the end only Collin gets welcomed back into Heaven for being genuinely good and not caving into violence and revenge.
Like I can imagine Heaven reappearing and him being becokoned back and welcome with open arms in a beautiful and majestic moment… and just as Cletus and Keenie go to follow… they get blocked off and met with a “Yeah… no… it’s just him okay?”
I could honestly see Deerie getting kicked out as well, Cletus and Keenie are spiteful phonies, but Deerie takes the cake.
Would be poetic if she ends up replacing Collin among CHERUBS trio unit.

He already put up a decent fight against Loona, a total berserker that destroyed DHORKS' squad effortlessly. I think that little sheep is more powerful than he looks, but like Charlie, he just doesn't have it in him to cause actual harm.

If I were writing anything I'd make it so Collin watches as his friends and DHORKS become more deranged and bloodthirsty and highlight his increasing neuroticism regarding his position. Meanwhile Stolas is kicked out of his position and it's given to Octavia, so at some point where the Cherub/DHORKS decide to step up their game and summon 'the owl demon' into a holding cell they get Octavia instead. Being the fall guy that he is, they leave Collin in charge of watching her because he couldn't possibly 'fuck it up' and they start talking. Because of Heavens weird direct morality Octavia would technically be more or less spotless and deserve to be in heaven rather than hell and it makes Collin self reflect, sparking whatever character development the creative team wants.
I liked the cherubs because they are a our only Viewpoint of heaven’s people while in Hazbin hotel we get to see the VIP’s of heaven such as Adam, Sera, and Emily.
I look forward to the day and moment when collin stands up for himself and leave those two lying,stealing scumbags.
He 100% deserves better. He's been treated like shit the whole time he was on screen. Idk why he just won't ditch Cletus and Keenie because he's just a doormat to him. Lots of people witnessed nice characters grow a backbone and stand up for themselves. Collin should do the same to that yellow sheep and baby. It would be satisfying to see him yell at them in the most swear-free way and as a bonus, beat the ever-living shit outta both of them earning his spot back to heaven while Cletus and Keenie have to continue to rot on Earth. I feel like Collin might betray the other cherubs and join the imp gang. It can open interesting dynamics with a cherub staying in hell. He can also have interesting dynamics with the other imps and maybe Loona as well.
The Good Place literally CHANGED the way that I think about morality, so I was already thinking about it when you directly called out the difference between the Cherubs' mentality and The Good Place's!

There's definitely a lot they could do with Collin as his story progresses. I'm sure they'll have him ultimately ditch his so-called friends at some point, but the question for him is what he'd do afterwards. And here are three scenarios I could see happening to Collin.
1. Get allowed back into Heaven.
2. Crossover into the Hazbin Hotel show and join it's cast as a way to earn his way back into Heaven again.
3. Join I.M.P. (As very unlikely as this scenario would be, imagine him befriending Moxxie, Millie or even Loona.)
But what do you all think?

here's hoping if Collin ever goes back to heaven, and only Collin, the other cherubs would beg on how exactly, and he just says nothing, has had enough, and flip the bird before disappearing to Heaven. It may be rude, but it's the right thing to do when dealing with terrible friends that treat you like trash.

I want more of Collin! He's is honestly the best and more tolerable of the three.
The Cherubs are Heavens version of the Imps. The C.H.E.R.U.Bs are also an interesting contrast to I.M.P - with Collin being the Moxxie of the group. And where Blitzø and Millie are tough but still caring towards Moxxie, Cletus and Keenie pretend to care/be good, but just abuse Collin.
I feel like Cletus is kind of similar ground to Blitz, just we see more POV of Blitz to know he's a good guy deep down. They both do a lot of that interchanging between manipulative sweet talk/asshole behaviour but have moments that show they are looking out for the whole group just in a very flawed way. Cletus at the very least tried to bail Collin and Keenie out of Hell rather than just bolt out by himself, even when Loona came for them. Having a moment of protectiveness after a whole episode of asshole behaviour does seem very Blitz-like.
Am I the only one seeing Collin being the only one NOT getting back into Heaven due to B.S. reasons, and handing Blitz his resume? That working the desk for I.M.P. in Hell is a *STEP UP* from where he was before getting kicked out of Heaven?
I totally see Collin controlling D.H.O.R.K in a hostile takeover and becoming the new antagonist next season.

The idea that heaven only looks at actions without context is actually a really interesting idea that would make a lot of sense. Surprised I haven’t seen it suggested sooner.
I want to see the cherubs unintentionally run into either Lucifer or Charlie and see what happens
Wet thenselves. Meanwhile, Lucifer is shocked to see cherubs in Hell and wants answers. Charlie is so sweet and concerned. Cletus and Keenie freak out and try to fight (which is pathetic) , while Collin just sits there and pleads for mercy or to just make it quick.

Something I've noticed between Hazbin and Helluva is that the actual question being asked here isn't actually "What does it take to get into Heaven?" Because for the most part, the various answers seem to have the basic gist of "Be a good person." The question, then, is what constitutes a good person? How can we determine what makes someone a "good person" and what makes them a "bad person"? Is it action versus intent? How do you weight those categories?
Like, if you spend your entire life donating to charities and volunteering at soup kitchens, but you treat non-white people poorly because they're not white, are you a good person for all of the charity work, or are you a bad person for the racism?
Does donating to a homeless shelter a few times cancel out you throwing your kid out of the house because they came out as gay or trans (or both)? And in the case of people like Lipton, does inventing or discovering something that ultimately proves beneficial to humanity make you a good person, despite the questionable (at best) ethics you used to accomplish that outcome?
And on the flip side, does being a kind and compassionate person make you a good person even if you don't volunteer your time or donate your money? Is someone who more or less keeps to themselves but is always polite and respectful and considerate when dealing with others not a good person compared to someone who is active in the community but has a habit of treating people who are different from them poorly?
Like, maybe it's not that deep, but it does feel to me like Hazbin and Helluva are exploring two sides of the same question. The kicker is that the nuance of the actual question seems to be getting lost or muddled in translation.

In my family, I feel like I'm the Collin, not exactly to the level of abuse he's gotten, but parents and siblings don't think I'm thinking right. Which in some ways yes, in others, no. It's extremely ironic they think that/assume that because I'm the oldest in my family

My headcanon is that while Helluva Boss starts when the first episode did in real time, Hazbin Hotel's first episode made by A24 takes place when the episode was released. This allow there to be 3 years between HB's episode 1 and HH's pilot and thus you have an in-universe excuse for them not to overlap

I must be the only one not liking Collin lol. It feels he falls in a specific niche of requirements to go to heaven. Sir Pentous wasn't a goodie two shoes yet he broke the barrier between hell and heaven. It feels Collins barely does the minumum. I need more to be convinced. His pals are asses yes. But that doesn't mean Collin 'deserves' heaven more.
If Colin is a 'scapegoat' I'm worried he'll be the Azazel of the Hellaverse, (I do think he exists in Charlie's phone during the pilot) but Azazel got cast out of heaven as a scapegoat, that maybe he'll become a powerful demon no longer wanting to go back to heaven because he sees the hypocrisy and hell treats him better.

I actually feel awful for every cherub involved. I honestly think Cletus is having a mental breakdown and Collin knows this. He feels powerless to help any of his friends and loved ones. If you look back at season 1, see how completely different that Cletus acts from this one in season 2. All they wanted to do was help an old man not kill himself, and the battle with the IMPS basically accidentally caused Cletus to kill the guy. I think the guilt between that as well as losing his position in heaven is just causing him to continue break down mentally more and more, and Collin here is trying to keep himself together for the entire team. I hope things end well for all of them.
I definitely feel like Cletus is more morally bankrupt than Collin, but at the same time, it only reflects how he is CHERUBS' Blitz. They are the flawed abrasive leader that are still trying to make everything work out. We root for Blitz despite being ten times the asshole Cletus is, just we get more POV of Blitz to show he isn't a total bad guy.
Hell throughout the mission Cletus seems nervous and desperate that nothing go wrong again ("We got one shot, it has to be PERFECT.") and is trying a lot harder to manage a team operation. At the end of the fight, Cletus even gets caught by Loona trying to carry Collin and Keenie back to DHORKS hideout. I think if Cletus didn't care at all, he would have just bolted without them. He has that protective side deep down just like Blitz.
Keenie is more volatile but even then, she saw Hell and thought Blitz was gonna harm people, and that set her off, compared to just wanting to take revenge or get their life back on track earlier, the CHERUBS actually seem to be processing real compassion, not the fake commodity based one they were bred to work on in Heaven. Sure it was misinterpreting in the moment, but they aren't wrong. Blitz DOES murder people, and he DOES get pretty damn creative about it. CHERUB are still the closest to 'heroes' in this show, just they need to develop a better grasp of what that means. The moment they manage that, they basically become a more sympathetic good guy version of IMP.

personal theory/opinion: if there were to be a crossover with Hazbin Hotel, I think Collin might, ideally, become Emily's secretary. Mostly because they both question Heaven's current/rusty system when actually facing difficult ethical/moral/spiritual situations first-hand. Plus, this would be absolute karma for Collin's toxic "friends" for treating him as a scapegoat. (0w0uuu)
