    Great board, very stiff, the rod down the. Middle really holds up well when you catch a wave too late and it breaks on you. Most boards I have used flex and buckle under a large wave buy this one wont, if you can keep it level and straight you have a good chance of making it out and riding through. Well worth the cash.

    How do you put the leash on the Morey Mach 7? Do you have a video of it? Thank you.

      found a video saying that you need to offset from center because of the Center Stringer. About 8inches from the Top and about 2inches from Center. Punch (lightly) with a Phillips Head screw driver until tip is almost through to the bottom. Then from Bottom insert the Screw Part (keeping everything as straight as possible) and from the Top Surface of board insert the Strap Plug. Screw them together by either pushing together with Palms of Hands or use a Screwdriver. Not too tight. Hope that helps.

    When did they start putting stringers in Mach 7s?

    I just bought a $60 board from a small shop, and on the first wave the leash ripped right out of the board destroying it. Does this happen with more expensive boards? I’m a surfer nursing a knee injury thus trying out a bodyboard.

      should not happen, which board di you buy?

      @@shineDeluxe I don't recall the name. I couldn't believe it. The leash tore through it like butter. I'd say you get what you pay for, but this wasn't a $20 board. I assumed a $60 board would last at least a handful of months before creasing or something. Anyway, thanks for the letting me know. I'll likely invest in a nicer board. Any suggestions? I'm 5'11" 180. Thanks

      @@Earclops BZ, Pride, Sniper, Morey... there are many good ones, go to a surf shop and talk to them, the board should reach your belly bottom as a rule of thumb to find the right size

    back in the days they rode the 1st slick skin boards at big pipe. you would have to ride the tail hard. couldnt lean into your turns as well as. then turbo and stewy came out with the x flex mesh and put it in the revised black 7-7. i rode a lot of boards. original mach7-7 and stewy black revised, mach 8, mach 7 SS, BZ ben t 10, BZ stinger, stewy turbo pro comp 3, T&C pro comp(surprisingly good in big surf), kauai classic dynalite, a squared tail mach 4 i think, custom X science battail custom stringer science custom stringer board, costco cooler board custom stringers. i stinger um myself. more better then factory. you can put as many as you like and angle them and shit. Aren't these like Costco boards with a stringer?

      @matthewbarneshi 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Haha pretty much. But considering the price average of an single stringer, these are like the economy class.

      In the olden days at the pipe contests it was mandatory for everyone to compete riding only a mach 7. This was before stringers too. Crazy AF.

      go get a Costco board and put stringers in yourself and it will work like a dream in 2ft to triple overhead to jawz. i know. Maui Hawaii represent.
