When I have to stick smaller pieces of paper into any of my punches (and can't get my fingers organized), I just stick the smaller piece of paper on the sticky part of a post-it note and put the whole thing in the punch, lining my small piece of paper up where it needs to be. Voila! I end up having a whole lot more real estate and stability to work with, and I can just pull the sticky note off when I'm done. Plus, I don't end up squishing the end of my finger in the big punches!
I double up my tabs to make them sturdier and don't usually use the stickers. Thanks for the hack for shortening. I think I can use a strip of washi to help align it more easily. Also if you don't want to use the stickers because of the stiffness, I use clear packing tape. That also sticks on laminated paper. Just trim around. I'm wondering if my tab will work on clear plastic. if so, I can use your fold over method to make tabs that I can slide labels into like on school binder dividers! I'm so inspired now! Thank you!
Hi! I'm a new subscriber and new to filofax. Awesome vid! Love it! I was thinking that when you are trying to shorten the tab you could add a post it note to it so that its bigger and has a "handle" so that you can maneuver it into place easier:)! Smiles! Becca

One question : What do you use for your labels (the labels you show in your filofax at almost 4mn in this video) Thanks for your answer !
Laurianne Gressin The labels I used for my dividers are from my Brother P-Touch labeler.
