Good song by REO Speedwagon.I saw them a few times in the 1970's.This is one of Kevin Cronin's songs, who is the singer here.Listen to Golden Country from their concert at the Rockpalast and Riding The Storm Out,they were written by Gary Richrath, who was the lead guitar player, and wrote more of rock type songs, instead of the softer pop style here.Thank you two for this reaction.
Kevin Cronin lead singer still rocking today with REO. Saw them couple months ago. Great show. Great band . Roll with the changes next listen. A masterpiece.
REO Speedwagon is my wife's favorite band, and they had a lot of great songs. They are definitely worth checking out. As always, I love your reaction to the song.
This song was written in the early 70s by the lead singer Kevin Cronin about a relationship, It was recorded on the 1978 album You Can Tune A Piano But You Can't Tuna Fish. Also the first song on this album is considered by many their best song, Roll With The Changes. They're in their 70s and still touring today. Also worth checking out is their biggest hits Keep On Lovin You and Can't Fight This Feeling from the 80s. Other of their 70s must listen to songs include Riding The Storm Out{Live Version} as well as Keep Pushing, plus many more
I just looked up the year it came out .... 1978 .... I am a subscriber, and really enjoy your reactions. You're a lovely, fun couple, and I look forward to your comments each & every day !
Ridning the Storm Out! Yall must give a listen! Andre and I must be kindred spirits, I get teary-eyed then Andre right there! I Love you guys! Keep On!
hello from the great state of Arkansas, i so enjoy seeing you two reacting to great music, im not sure why, but it fills me with pride and joy... keep up the good work and great things will come your way...
YAY i luvd **REO Speedwagon** once again when i was a lil kid & i read later in life that they were like the 1st or the biggest **Stadium Concert Performers** for that era another great song is **Roll With The Changes** Thank YOU Both!!! & Andrei I luv your story bout the recurring **Dream** cuz I had one of those for like 3 consecutive years those are pretty **Wild** **PixieHugz&LuvzALL**
You can tell it's a 70s song (1977 actually) because they're playing real instruments. You won't see many acoustic guitars (for example) after MTV began in 1982. If it was a 1980s song, the band would be wearing strange outfits, lots of makeup, probably some glitter, prancing around the stage like it was an exercise routine, and most of the sound would be synthesized or computerized. All of that was what MTV brought. This song was five years before MTV, when the music was still real 👍😎
I just went through your channel and saw that you like really unusual and freaky sounds. RM of BTS has just released an album "RIGHT PLACE WRONG PERSON" with a kind of an experimental sound of alternative rock which is quite a new sound to him. Would love to get a full album reaction.
Howdy guys. I enjoy your reactions immensely. Your manner and outlook reminds me of home. I grew up listening to REO and still rock to them today. The video you watched was pretty good but if you want to see REO at their best you should have a look at "Roll with the Changes" th-cam.com/video/jeHkaSH0Xw8/w-d-xo.html It's a live performance as well but it's much more dynamic and full of life. BTW: They got the name of their band from a fire truck manufactured by the REO Speed Wagon company. Pretty cool don't ya think? Anyway, cheers and keep up the good work.
"Roll with the Changes" is another banger from REO.
❤❤I had the pleasure of hearing REO live over 20 years ago, and just wowwww !❤❤
"...enough of the falseness of a worn out relation." That gets me every time. Ty for reaction!

Graduated college and grad school in the 80s and REO was all part of the master plan. They were awesome then and still awesome now. ....

A song by these guys that runs through my mind when things get tough is Keep Pushin'. Definitely a recommended listen by me.
This was right around 1978-1980. I remember this album coming out and dancing with my cousins when I was a little kid.
