Love the soprano but his voice is much too light for this role right now for my taste. I prefer a much darker sound. He is a fine musician and singer for sure but just not what I would prefer for this role.

So beautiful! Tamara Wilson is my favorite soprano singing today.
Wilsons voice is riding high here with an attractive point. Russell's voice is a little hazy this performance. We all struggle at times.

Itt sounded to me he was holding back a little on the power. But certainly capable of singing the part in full staging.
