*Sidenote:* Non New Yorkers seldom realize how often television normalizes extreme wealth. The apartment that the Byrnes lived in, 623 W 21st Street, would have been in Chelsea. A "basic" 1 bedroom condos on a lower floor is in the $2 - $3 million range and will give the owner a fine view of either a tree or the building across the street. At the 1:00 mark you can see by the sunset that their apartment has a western exposure and the river view makes it clear it is on Hudson River Drive. The apartment is also well above the treeline. An apartment like that is easily worth over $5,000,000 with...say $3,000 - $5,000 in monthly HOA fees. But a fakemeout FedEx employee can afford to live there? GetTheFvckOutaHere!!!
Hell the brownstone that Byrne got killed in front of is worth a bare minimum of $8,000,000. Add another $10 mil if it was near Central Park.
