Tzeentch is pronounced just like it is spelled. [TSINTSCH] "Slaneesh is the best" I just love how they nailed the theme with this one. Slaneesh is supposed to lure you in by giving you what you want. The Prince of Chaos is all about indulgence. She who thirsts will not take your soul by force. You will give it to her willingly.
One thing: health buffs stack additively, not multiplicatively. Got +20% and +50% as shade and ended up with 170 (1+0.2+0.5=1.7) not 180 (100*1.5*1.2=180). Edit: Also, regarding blood tornadoes. One thing two of my friends and I realised in a recent run is that it seems like the blood tornadoes have predetermined spawn locations and movement. We were in a tight space on one of the maps and the tornado spawned in the exact same location and moved the exact same path several times in a row. Even as we moved to a position where that spawn would not affect us at all it kept spawning there. Now, that's not too helpful aside from specific situations where you can figure out the spawn and they are still the most obnoxious curse, but figured it was worth adding.
Yes and no. The % on your weapons only affect the amount of coins you personally get. But you get the extra coins regardless of who picks them up automatically. So no need to worry about that! :)
Jade Censer is really good for last mission : U can activate it really on the beginnning before minions spawn (in last part of last mission i mean) and this effect is so long that its like the full last part. Very easy last mission with this (I play this on Carta most times)

For me I found out that Handmaiden with Moonfire + S&D seems to be the best over-all combo that will play well without depending on any specific bonuses you can get on map. What is your conclusion for Kerillian? I also kind of like "Boss Delete" Shade build with S&D/D&D and Moonfire and it's again - very independent from extra bonuses you can get.
Handmaiden always stronk! :) As for shade! She is just very very hard to carry through the first couple of maps! Most shade's I have on my team die all the freaking time and I can't really blame them since she does struggle a lot (especially with the boss dmg ulti) early on. But at the same time she can become very powerful towards the end! :)
2 questions: Do Bots get boons? So it is really bad, when a group is near the Citadel and someone joins in, he only has the talents from the previous maps, but no boons and white weapons. In this case i guess it would be better to set the game to private to stick with the bots. And when will we see the first true solos cata chaos waste run from you :)
First I don't think bots gets boons no. Generally speaking I think you should ALWAYS start with a full team! Having people join mid game is essentially setting yourself up for failure since they will be behind on money/power/boons etc. As for the true solo! So far I've died on map 3 a couple of times! XD I will get it eventually haha!
One thing that annoys the heck out of me is the "gain two stamina shields" boon and "+4 stamina" buff. At least be consistent or, even better, use both terms in both places.

Miracle of Ranald saved our cata runs a couple of times, We had Khorne + hordes + elites and og my god i never throw so much bombs and drink so much pots in the game. I luckily had decanter (and i think its OP in CW) and i was Just permanently invisible throwing bombs with +150% power BH that also lifesteal and heals team with kills. I leggit threw like a hundred bombs that level (and most of them not being from a pot) and drink like 30-40 pots

Cooldown reduction doesn't directly affect his ultimate since it's a set reduction in the total cooldown time which kinda makes no sense on his ulti. However. Don't hold me up on this cause I haven't done any test on it yet but I would think that cooldown ''Regeneration'' does work. More info may come in upcoming video!
Imo I think block cost reduction and stamina recovery should be swapped around as block cost is useful for every team composition out there whereas stamina is useful unless there is a handmaiden in the team which makes it a mediocre stat at best, but I agree 100% that crit power should be on the bottom as much as I love my pyro I'll take anything over it.
Would love to play V2 Chaos Wastes ... if the new update did not tank my fps from 120 to 40... without a horde ... looking on the flat ground ... and most effects bs options off ...
This is pretty helpful, kinda wish I didn't go through my own testing now though, as the only new info was morgrims bomb and boon % chances. Hopefully I will get a cata win soon, solo or not!
How can this be the definitive guide when it's not even talking at all about when you should go for weapon upgrade shrines, whether or not random boon shrines are worth it and when you should hold off on them, etc ^^
Because all of that will be in part 2! :D I underestimated how long the video was going to be... Initially I meant to have all of it in one video but it turns out that was just too much for one video! :P
It doesn't work 100% of the time but if you wait through the loading screen patiently and no one else leaves the game in panic then it should be able migrate the host to someone else and in the worst case scenario you have to start over on the map you had begun. Thankfully you get to keep all the coins you farmed in the run before the host left, which means you actually end up with extra farming opportunities! :P
Miracle of Isha bugged my finale map, where I have become immortal but in the downed state. Mob were fighting me(including troll) but no one could pick me up and we lost game when everyone else died which was infuriating, I've lost ~2 hours because of bug.
There are 2 boons I'm almost desperate to see in combination. Increase power by 25% but lose 3hp per swing while above 50% health AND Taking damage gives you guaranteed crits for a short time. And for the crazy synergy add chain lightning to that as well
I know you apologised for leaving boons out, but I actually think it works really well, in fact you go into so much detail I honestly think you would be better making a bunch of smaller guides for each section, then you can timestamp within them, e.g. each of the gods or potions. Something to maybe consider for future... Keep up the good work!
hey partyknife i used your zealot guide and i love it but i have a hard time with shield rats, my attacks don’t seem to do anything to them (billhook is the weapon im using)
Had a run last night where i got the duplication boon as well as the jade censer and the potion of endless bombs, as the unchained. We were set from then on lmao
40% crit power is an absolute MUST for a Witch Hunter Captain, especially if used with a guaranteed crit ult. he melts throw bosses in melee like butter, its not even funny just how quickly a troll of a stromfiend go down. Also-Twin Blight is extremely dangerous, and should not be underestimated. Loot rats have a chance to split into two FUCKING RATOGRES. Which can easily mess up a run if he is killed during a wave. Killing two of them at the same time during a wave is not something that can be easily done in a quickplay and a poorly balanced party. Beastmen Bannermen split into two bestigors which start their attack animation almost instantly, which just sucks how much it can hurt.

So 20% crit power increase can change the multiplier from 1.75 to 2 or it can change it from 1.25 to 1.3 depending on the weapon.
The thing is. Crit power is calculated based off of the difference between a critical hit and a non critical hit. As an example. If you deal 1k dmg on a strike and that same attack would have done 2k as a critical hit. Then with 40% crit power, your attack would deal +40% of the difference between the 2 numbers on a critical hit. In other words you would now deal 2.400 dmg on a critical hit. The real strength of critical hits on a WHC comes from the executions on headshots. As for the lighting I totally agree it can screw you over hard haha! :D
