Creative Fine Arts 2015 at the National Museum Bangkok, Aug. 16, 2015. Surpanakha, widowed sister of Ravana, king of Lanka, happens upon Prince Rama in a forest and becomes instantly smitten. Spurned by the prince, she lashes out at his wife, Sita, in a jealous rage and ends up maimed and disfigured by his brother, Lakshmana. Vowing vengeance, the ogress flees to seek the help of her brothers Khara, Dhushana and Trishira. Surpanakha: Thammanoon Raengmailod. Surpanakha in disguise: Pornthip Thongcham.
