Just discovered these guys like a couple weeks ago and I’ve been totally down for their new album. Love Saboteur, Empire, Disciple, and would be sweet to see Submission. These guys are rad. Im really impressed by the lead singing and shredding. Would enjoy seeing them for a first time. Good capture
God I sit here enjoying this with tears of joy in my eyes, while the crowd is barely responding during this performance. My countdown: 196 days until I see Wheel live! Can't fucking wait!
Unfortunately the sound guy decided that panning the guitars mostly hard left and right was a good idea (spoiler: it's never a good idea). So in practice there is a lot more lead guitar where I was standing and barely any rhythm guitar in the mix. Apparently the tour manager did sound for Wheel that night. What a monkey.
I was standing with my brother in front of the sound booth, the guitar panning was awesome from there. But you are unfortunately right that it doesn't translate well for the whole audience.
“You’re wearing me down we’re facing the end of another one” I’d have been losing my shit and hurting my neck with these riffs! WOW. It’s like the crowd has NO clue what’s in front of them 🙄🤦🏻♂️

Heyo! Small note for the chapters, at 28:09 they transitioned from Movement into Vultures. Besides that, great video! Cant wait to see them later this month
@@danielwade1978 I was actually going to ask who the headliner was. I noticed that Wheel's drummer is off to the side and the headliner's kit in centre stage. Man what a show that would have been. Love Caligula's Horse. Since Forrester Savell did sound for both bands ... epic sound.
So... bro... that song was unreleased at the time of this concert. It's now up on Spotify... but it's completely fair to say they had never heard it before.
