Great Review ZigWheels , I've been having the new access for over a year now , It's a fantastic ride , love the design , engine and everything about it .
i own both activa 125 and access 125. Both are best in thier own ways. Activa is best for comfort and if you love speed then access 125 is a better option. Fuel efficiency in both the scooters is same.

I think access is the better option here because it is powerful and fuel efficient at the same time. Also, it's lighter in weight then Activa and mileage is also good. I have new access and is giving me 52 kmpl in city. Seats are bigger and comfortable and suspension is rightly tuned too. Recommended

i have old activa 2012 model ,acceleration is very good,everything is good but issue is with engine even after proper service in showroom's workshop its engine got down every year ,i spents 20k within a year to repair ,i know i was stupid but i love it ,but finally sold it ang going t o buy activa now

Suzuki scooters are one or two step above Honda scooters. they simply feel more premium in everyway. The Best part is the engine, ITS A MARVEL!! Both access and swish accelerates like hell!

Suzuki Access is a lighter scooter as compared to Honda Activa 125 and it picks up faster. However since it's light the Access does not handle bumpy roads very well like Activa 125 which is sturdier in manoeuvring through potholed roads. If zipping fast is your passion then go for Access but if you wish to go steady and most probably for more years ( cf. Honda's research on engines is fantastic!) , then Activa is your bike.

Sarang Pise how is it ? after sales service ? Performance ? milage? brakes ?
Well i faced problem after they changed the rear shaft.. but honestly speaking, not everybody will face this...since its an issue with the mechanic and the dealer who is dealing this.. after a terrible complaint, they fixed the issue and today i rode around 80km continuously in the city without any problem. So figure out the best dealer and the one with best after sales service...
but in whole this is a good scooter with pretty good look and control...also check out for the disc model...
The trust of Honda has never turned me down, I own a Honda Active 125 a Royal Enfield Classic &a City. Coming to the Active, it has always been low on maintenance. I have changed a couple of states the service quality on Honda hasn't dipped any where, I use it the scooter for mainly shopping or casual rides, I am not expecting too much of torque. Honda Active 125 was a celebration model for the company had achieved the 100 million target.Its a year old now, but Suzukis Access 125 new version is launched, its actual feed back would come after the bike completes its 2nd service, yup more features and built keeping in mind the target competitor Active, common its the most selling scooter. Till date the top selling Active in the market is a Active 3G in Honda, yes its a perfect completion so its not possible to declare an absolute winner as your priorities may not match mine.I am open to contradiction, but I am with Honda this time.If you are patient enough do wait for the Aprilla. Yes I have tried most of the scooters and bikes, but I always opt to be the Wing Rider when it comes to scootering and a RE guy when it comes to biking. This looks like a paid commercial though...

I would not purchase a vehicle solely based on first impressions.
My review after 2250 kms:
My wife and I have purchased the new suzuki access 125 from Deccan Suzuki (020-41464999), Ghole Road, Pune.
Date of delivery: 8th October 2016.
On the date of delivery, the vehicle had already done 62 kms. The showroom staff could not explain who had used the vehicle, for what purpose and in what manner prior to delivery.
Secondly, I was offered Extended Warranty for my vehicle. I have yet not recieved any written confirmation regarding the same.
Thirdly, I have recorded every tank full of petrol which I have filled up into the vehicle since delivery. The recorded mileages thus, are as follows: 45, 47, 45, 50.81, 1st free service on 19 Nov 2016, 49, 45.81, 40.78, 43.69, 41.06, 41.95, 31 (29 Dec 2016). As you can see, the mileage has dropped considerably after the 1st free service.
Fourthly the vehicle has nowhere near the acceleration that it had before the 1st free service, or for that matter for an Access 125. It struggles miserably on mild inclines where other 92cc vehicles pass by it very easily. I own a 2003 model Honda Activa and it climbs up the same incline with ease.
Fifthly, The vehicle struggles when riding with a pillion in the range of 30kph to 50kph.
Also, it makes a huge noise when pushed hard, which is not normal. Regarding this, the showroom service manager informed me that the company itself has made the vehicle in this manner. I fail to understand how a company like Suzuki can manufacture a vehicle that makes so much noise when pushed hard.
The front brake vibrates considerably when pressed hard, indicating that the factory-fitted front brake liners are of substandard quality.
After months of saving and spending Rs 70,000 of our hard earned money in total, I am deeply dissatisfied with the performance of our vehicle. I have sent our vehicle to the workshop twice after the 1st free service.
At the time of writing this, the condition of the vehicle remains the same.
I have come across online reviews by owners facing the same problems, and have also spoken to an owner in Pune with the exact same problems as our vehicle.
I am following up the issue with the showroom, hoping for the best
I have the 2015 Suzuki access and I initially faced a similar issue with regards to the vehicle performance. Before 3000 km I managed to stay within 30 to 40 kmph as per the recommendation of the service provider.
After 3 services, I felt I was cheated with my purchase because:
- The scooter didn't pull well at all, and if it did, I would come with an enormous amount of body vibrations with a heavy unpleasant engine noise. It's like the vehicle was breaking down.
- I could hardly take on a steep ascent while being alone on a scooter. I could barely reach 40 kmph, while some old activas were effortlessly climbing, and I felt like a person who has been fooled all the way up.
- I informed the service manager who told that all scooters are the same and that there is nothing to be worried about. Some mild tuning would be done to fix the issue. I on several occasion sent the vehicle for repair with no real feeling of satisfaction.
- I almost asked for a refund or felt like selling the vehicle back.
I decided to visit a different service center and I realized that the problem was not the vehicle but the people working on it. It was like night and day. It took approximately 2 services to bring the vehicle back on track.
Do no hesitate to buy the part for yourself and keep them as servicing the access can be quite easy and cheap when done outside. Do change your oil filter, oil and air filter every month, no matter how far or how you drove.
Familiarize yourself with your vehicle, no service mechanic will know your vehicle better than you do. Insist on what service you want
After 3 months, send the vehicle for spark plug change and suspensions, breaks adjustment, battery recharge, clutch overhaul and other checks. .
Today my access is 2 years old. My minimum speed is 70 kmph. I reach 85 without a sweat. occasionally I reach 90 when driving on highway with zero vibrations.

we have Activa 125 and access 125 both are top end models bs4. but Activa 125 is worst performance than Suzuki 125.the seating and handling position is excellent in Suzuki access 125. if your going to purchase activate 125.please come back and go for access 125. the all new Suzuki access 125 is excellent engine. so I think these video whatever he compares both scooters is true
Hi Venkatesh, Comfort and performance is definitely good in Access when I did test ride of both. But I am worried about the performance of access 125 as we use it more. Some wrote about its falling mileage, pick up and increased vibrations. Any light on this?

@Rashmi Jaiswal Both are equally refined, well-built, comfortable to ride and confident handlers. Suzuki has got this scooter right in terms of styling, features list and also the mechanicals. Here, Access just beats the Activa 125 by a very small margin. Moreover, we recommend you to take a test ride before you make a final call.
Access is really worth it.average also good than activa but the issue is service Center they are not providing good service.

I need your honest opinion on this scooter segment, which scooter I can buy blind folded.
mileage up to first servicing 40 then it will rise up to 50-52 if you ride in economy mode..

I agree to the fact access is much better, even I have access as well as activa, but I feel the only disadvantage of Suzuki is with their poor servicing on the other hand Honda offers better servicing than Suzuki. And even the Suzuki's parts are not available in the market except in the service station which on the other hand Honda's parts are available everywhere. Anyone agrees with me??

Latest Activa 125 BS4 model is way more better that Access 125, the BS4 model also comes with a mobile charger under it's seat and it has much more spacious under seat storage space, the looks of this model is awesome and it comes with always on headlamps the LEDs are cool
