It's not just RURF that's spiked in Toxicity. Every game mode has had, at least in my experience, a massive uptick in people just giving up after the first [insert bad thing] happen to them. It's either that or griefers, afks, trolls. It's been bad, but it's never been this bad where I'm throwing a report every four or five games bad like now.

Griefers AFKs or trolls? I shit you not that has not been my experience AT ALL. Bad players playing bad =/= griefers/trolls btw. Hardly any AFKs on either side either. I've also played a fuck ton of URF this season. It literally hasn't been any different compared to the past. The biggest problem I see in URF is people treating it like ranked and trying their absolute asses off in order to win the game. That and toxicity. In like 300 games I maybe had 2 people MAX that genuinely trolled or griefed and wasn't just simply bad at the game.
I'm not saying you are doing it on purpose but a lot of people associate bad players as being trolls/griefers. However an actual troll/griefer is night and day compared to a bad player. I'd much rather the 4 other players on my team be bad players then to have a singular troll. Because trolls might not necessarily be bad at the game and if they aren't they know exactly how to throw the game into a completely unwinnable position.

Tiger stance Udyr in urf is literally just the "I win" button. Your tiger stance immediately applies the burn damage if you reset the burn and its on almost no cooldown in the first fight so you get fed off the first fight by people who think "Oh its just an Udyr what can he do?" then you build your sheen into Triforce and just run around the map killing everything while taking barely any damage cause Tiger into Turtle into Tiger spam. I usually go Triforce, Steraks, Deaths Dance, Force of Nature and Bork/Frozen Heart.
Lethal tempo taric has infinite stun similarly. If you reactivate his stun while there's another still charging, it applies instantly. So if you just keep autoing and using e, they literally cannot do anything in a 1v1. Take stride breaker for attack speed plus some durab8

Im just gonna say it- URF (and ARURF) are toxic because the playerbase is entierly split on what it even means as a gamemode. Some people think it is there to be some hyper-skilled outplay mode, where everyone is running at 100 miles a minute. Others (such as myself) just want to have fun, and indulge in the unique shit you CAN do in URF as a mode.

Totally. I would take the occassional Odyssey type event over the visual novel shit ANY day. I skip all the cutscenes and go for only freebies. 0 fucks given to them. Same with the new years event, spirit blossom, etc. No more visual novels please.
The best "I win" combo I've found in URF is Heca+Yuumi. Once Heca hits lvl 3, he presses ghost, E, and Predator, Yuumi spams her E, and Heca's passive + Yuumi's bonus AD from W make Heca deal INSANE damage. With some more movement speed items you're a racecar on the rift, and Heca can both deal and tank enough damage that nobody can stop them. It's fun to play! Though I can't imagine it's fun to play against...
Two things that make urf really unfun : turrets having negative resistances (meaning if some people decide to split push they can easly take all turrets in 20 seconds) and long ass death timers (50 seconds at 15 mins ??? Also enemies can just end in 20 seconds like why is it so long)

Here’s a Galio build I’ve done in urf; Galio’s biggest weakness is his CD’s. All of them excluding his passive are in the double digits, and it’s why he can’t go things like Conqueror or Riftmaker since he can’t usually reliably stack them… USUALLY. This is not a problem in urf obviously, and in this mode you can build those two, plus a demonic and full MR tank on Galio to be an unkillable CC heavy fighter with tons of waveckear and damage. Not to mention the DR on W is permanent and scales with MR and AP. And the passive CD is lowered in urf and scales with the same stats. Conquerer->Triumph->tenacity->coup Absolute focus->Nimbus cloak Riftmaker>Demonic>abyssal mask>Merc’s And finish with an additional MR and Armor item of your choice. I reccomend Thornmail and Force of Nature.
My greatest urf creation is movement speed trundle, where you go all movement speed runes, ghost, and shurelya’s into yuumuu’s into all other ms items. The playstyle is to max pillar and then do nothing but run the fuck around knocking enemies and allies up, accomplishing nothing and making all nine other players hate you. Bonus strat: have a pocket Yuma to be faster, have more ms, AND the ability to actually deal damage. Very fun but got nerfed due to predator changes.
Yeah ,until you face anyone who have range burst ( vel), unlimited cc ( morgana, taric, gragas,..) ,poke or stun from 3 screen away( sydra , miss fortune,..) or champ that literally solo you 1v1 ( late game kayle, trydam,...)
Just lethality Vi, since knockups are not affected by tenacity, you can literally kill them during the time they're unable to move with R + Q, and even if you don't kill your Q will be coming again super fast again so it's really easy to chase and keep the person in place, it is really fun (For the Vi, not for the oponent-)
A thing I made in URF was Lillia with Ludens instead of liandries. Ludens gives constant movement speed bursts that almost perfectly link between each of your Q's. Not to mention that her passive procs it as well. In fact it procs the Ludens burst twice. Afterwards you can just go whatever (like demonics/rabbadon/cosmic drive) and enjoy your permanent hyper speed and insane damage
my favorite build for URF is "hard to kill rat" Step 1 - Get Ziggs and go Flash/Ghost Step 2 - Get best Movement Speed runes Step 3 - Max E in lane and watch as your lane opponent struggles to do anything as you zip past all their spells Step 4 - Type in all chat "Hard to kill rat" every time you avoid death.
I've never been an urf or arurf fan. For me super short cds aren't fun, I miss the fancy double jungle minigame one. Now that's a featured game mode right there

Shaco in general is probably one of the most frustrating things in urf. Just constantly going invisible, throwing clones and little deaths-in-a-box toys.
Going full ad or lethality with Akshan is the funniest I've done. Literally took down a squishy enemy with just all the shots from R. And the wave clear with Q is insane. Proc is also strong, but for urf, lethAkshan is so fucking fun to me.
I really like running Lillia in URF. Just basic build (liandry, demonic embrace and ap or tanky items depending on the game). Q on minions to gain speed, roll a ball at enemy for slow, w for half the healthbar and q while running away. Repeat. Just nonstop bullying from a deer. Love it
I like to do this, but with the added bonus of giving the enemy the chance to play the game. I just write in chat "let me stack and we chill" , I don't attack them, but do fight back if they come at me. And if they keep doing it, suddenly they will find all of their towers have mystically vanished
It's not possible to do it alone but fiddlesticks and nasus is the most hilarious -frustrating combo because you can fear them and then ramus will make them follow him and that makes the victim go wherever fiddle and ramus want
It's ridiculously funny that we both have been destroying URF games with Nasus. Though I've been using what I call "Ripped Teemo Nasus". Liandry's, Demonic, Rylai, Lich Bane, Rabadons and Cosmic. With all of these, a Conqueror page, ghost, flash and midlane, Nasus shreds tanks, has a high HP pool, can stack as much as he wants, meaning he one shots real quick, and deals massive amounts of dps because of the burns. Best of all? Not even exhaust is enough to stop him, because he outlives and heals it with his Q. Not even Teemo himself compares.
I miss the star guardian maps because you have to work together. I didn’t meet a single toxic person while playing that game mode because they wanted to get through it.
My favorite thing to play in URF is sunfire Alistar mid. Going aftershock, scaling and tenacity runes + building tank makes you unbeatable late game. The low cooldown of your w makes lvl 1 easy against any champion and getting lvl 2 usually means you getting a solokill by knocking your opponent into your tower. You should max out q first.
another fun urf/aram build is on-hit ww he deals so much damage its actually kind of impossible to 1v1 him, not to mention you literally one-shot squishies with how much damage your ult will deal i actually got one of my only pentakills on aram with it lmfao
I love playing Speedcarim in ARURF, it's super fun even if I don't win every game with it. Horsey go Nyooooooom. Also, amazing use of the Master Duel music, editor!
The thing that pisses people the off the most is singed rammus. Basically you go in their base and continuously tank all the ccs and the enemy will never be able to push and get plates and also they’re forced to ignore you since you can outrun them
Its nothing too fancy or special but in URF i love going Phase Rush Garen with Trinity Force and Deadmans. Rest of the items are up to preference but its just really funny ghosting up to people at mach 10 and essentially 2 shotting them with a Q+R
Skooch I reccomend this greatly, Assassin Camille Duskblade or Eclipse, berzerker greaves, essence reaver, bloodthirster, I.E., and any flex item you want (i like maw if you didnt take eclipse Runes are: Electrocute Sudden impact Alacrity Eyeball collection Coup. Treasure hunter (or whatever it is) All this together scales hard and ends up letting you do over 1000 true damage in 1 empowered Q
disco darius is pretty fun to me in urf so here it is run hail, cheap shot, eyeball, relentless for your primary and celerity, absolute focus/gathering storm for your recondary build would be duskblade, collector, essense reaver, IE, DD, swifties
The most fun i've ever had in URF is with Zilean. Harvester, FON, Deadman's, Zhonyas and GA turn a senile old man into the embodiment of death crucified to a clock
I should try that I usually take crown to be annoying asf, rabadon for the fat bomb dmg and ult heal and dead man's to zoom around the map and to keep up with allies i speed up
I love using Zilean in URF. I feel like a master conductor and me team is my symphony. Speeding up and ulting my heavy hitters while bomb harrassing like a maniac. I rarely pass up a chance to Zilean.
Taric in urf is the most fun thing ever if you build one attack speed boots, eclipse then full tank. I also tried once with the collector and worked really well. Then go in lane, hit one e auto attack resets your e and just spam e auto and they are stun locked, and you can spam it on towers too so you feel like machine gun. Using your q to heal is great after fights but not much worth in the middle of killing someone cause they can’t hurt you and even if you did it’s slower then e cause of the animation, and you basically heal nothing compared to a 400 stacks nasus XD so just use e UwU
The only mode that I really enjoyed plkaying over and over in league was Dominion. After the removed it I burnt out on the game pretty quickly and haven't played since 2017. URF was pretty fun though. Hide and Seek with friends on the Dominion maps with friends in a private match was super fun too.
fiora with predator, ghost and trinity force into Youmuu's Ghostblade then full assassin is very fun . With build you can one shot people while also being way faster than them. At full build you can kill towers in 2-3 hits
Shaco. Runes(important ones): Phase Rush, Celerity, Scorch. Demolish, Overgrowth. Items: Demonic Embrace, Liandry, Ravenous Hydra, Warmog's. You never die, and your traps burn for a million hp. Anytime you get low-ish on health, you Ult, Q away, drop a trap to dissuade pursuit, and regen all your hp in a few seconds, then come back and make them regret every decision in their life that led to this moment. Edit: Oh, and between your traps, your ult, and Demolish, you take towers insanely fast.
Favourite URF thing is definitely AP Kai'Sa. Not as the AP build that used to go around but only tons and tons of AP and W max and basically ignore the other abilities (Q is 'okay' but you should never be that close to enemies). Most people forget that Kai'Sa gets vision when W hits, meaning when they try to back due to the poke you can just keep shooting at them and late game 2 W's is a kill 🙂 Sadly, W's AP ratio got nerfed a bunch after AP Kai'Sa was a thing in ranked, so I don't know if it's as powerful anymore, haven't had the chance to try it out since.
I really miss nexus blitz. It was short enough and gave us enough variety in minigames to keep it interesting.

Sion Ivern is also very cool. You can kill towers with Daisy tanking and both taking Demolish.

I miss the starguardian event so much. They made such a challenging pve gamemode that was just cooperative fun with your friends. Loved it
My greatest urf creation is movement speed trundle, where you go all movement speed runes, ghost, and shurelya’s into yuumuu’s into all other ms items. The playstyle is to max pillar and then do nothing but run the fuck around knocking enemies and allies up, accomplishing nothing and making all nine other players hate you. Bonus strat: have a pocket Yuma to be faster, have more ms, AND the ability to actually deal damage. Very fun but got nerfed due to predator changes.
Nasus is such a menace. His early is limited normally but in urf it just feels like such a cheatcode
Yeah ,until you face anyone who have range burst ( vel), unlimited cc ( morgana, taric, gragas,..) ,poke or stun from 3 screen away( sydra , miss fortune,..) or champ that literally solo you 1v1 ( late game kayle, trydam,...)
Just lethality Vi, since knockups are not affected by tenacity, you can literally kill them during the time they're unable to move with R + Q, and even if you don't kill your Q will be coming again super fast again so it's really easy to chase and keep the person in place, it is really fun (For the Vi, not for the oponent-)
I like full crit over lethality. You don't even need R to kill anything except a tank. Just Q->AA->E and they're either dead or one auto from dead.

A thing I made in URF was Lillia with Ludens instead of liandries.
Ludens gives constant movement speed bursts that almost perfectly link between each of your Q's. Not to mention that her passive procs it as well. In fact it procs the Ludens burst twice.
Afterwards you can just go whatever (like demonics/rabbadon/cosmic drive) and enjoy your permanent hyper speed and insane damage
my favorite build for URF is "hard to kill rat"
Step 1 - Get Ziggs and go Flash/Ghost
Step 2 - Get best Movement Speed runes
Step 3 - Max E in lane and watch as your lane opponent struggles to do anything as you zip past all their spells
Step 4 - Type in all chat "Hard to kill rat" every time you avoid death.
I've never been an urf or arurf fan. For me super short cds aren't fun, I miss the fancy double jungle minigame one. Now that's a featured game mode right there

Going full ad or lethality with Akshan is the funniest I've done. Literally took down a squishy enemy with just all the shots from R. And the wave clear with Q is insane. Proc is also strong, but for urf, lethAkshan is so fucking fun to me.

ARURF has an unspoken rule that you are not allowed to backdoor or hit the nexus, the minions do that for you

I really like running Lillia in URF. Just basic build (liandry, demonic embrace and ap or tanky items depending on the game). Q on minions to gain speed, roll a ball at enemy for slow, w for half the healthbar and q while running away. Repeat. Just nonstop bullying from a deer. Love it

I like to do this, but with the added bonus of giving the enemy the chance to play the game. I just write in chat "let me stack and we chill" , I don't attack them, but do fight back if they come at me. And if they keep doing it, suddenly they will find all of their towers have mystically vanished
I just realized there's the Master Duel song playing for this and it fits him playing Nasus with that skin. LOL
It's not possible to do it alone but fiddlesticks and nasus is the most hilarious -frustrating combo because you can fear them and then ramus will make them follow him and that makes the victim go wherever fiddle and ramus want
It's ridiculously funny that we both have been destroying URF games with Nasus. Though I've been using what I call "Ripped Teemo Nasus". Liandry's, Demonic, Rylai, Lich Bane, Rabadons and Cosmic. With all of these, a Conqueror page, ghost, flash and midlane, Nasus shreds tanks, has a high HP pool, can stack as much as he wants, meaning he one shots real quick, and deals massive amounts of dps because of the burns.
Best of all? Not even exhaust is enough to stop him, because he outlives and heals it with his Q. Not even Teemo himself compares.

I miss the star guardian maps because you have to work together. I didn’t meet a single toxic person while playing that game mode because they wanted to get through it.
My favorite thing to play in URF is sunfire Alistar mid. Going aftershock, scaling and tenacity runes + building tank makes you unbeatable late game. The low cooldown of your w makes lvl 1 easy against any champion and getting lvl 2 usually means you getting a solokill by knocking your opponent into your tower. You should max out q first.

The thing that pisses people the off the most is singed rammus. Basically you go in their base and continuously tank all the ccs and the enemy will never be able to push and get plates and also they’re forced to ignore you since you can outrun them
The Kingdom Hearts and Guilty Gear music is on point.
Its nothing too fancy or special but in URF i love going Phase Rush Garen with Trinity Force and Deadmans. Rest of the items are up to preference but its just really funny ghosting up to people at mach 10 and essentially 2 shotting them with a Q+R

I usually take crown to be annoying asf, rabadon for the fat bomb dmg and ult heal and dead man's to zoom around the map and to keep up with allies i speed up
I love using Zilean in URF. I feel like a master conductor and me team is my symphony. Speeding up and ulting my heavy hitters while bomb harrassing like a maniac. I rarely pass up a chance to Zilean.
Taric in urf is the most fun thing ever if you build one attack speed boots, eclipse then full tank. I also tried once with the collector and worked really well. Then go in lane, hit one e auto attack resets your e and just spam e auto and they are stun locked, and you can spam it on towers too so you feel like machine gun. Using your q to heal is great after fights but not much worth in the middle of killing someone cause they can’t hurt you and even if you did it’s slower then e cause of the animation, and you basically heal nothing compared to a 400 stacks nasus XD so just use e UwU
As trundle, at 3 items u can 1v1 turrets within 10 seconds, its quite fun to ruin people's day since the game ususally doesnt go over 20 minutes.

The only mode that I really enjoyed plkaying over and over in league was Dominion. After the removed it I burnt out on the game pretty quickly and haven't played since 2017. URF was pretty fun though. Hide and Seek with friends on the Dominion maps with friends in a private match was super fun too.

fiora with predator, ghost and trinity force into Youmuu's Ghostblade then full assassin is very fun . With build you can one shot people while also being way faster than them. At full build you can kill towers in 2-3 hits
This is all fun and games until literally a single champ with fimblewinter decides you dont get to play anymore
Shaco. Runes(important ones): Phase Rush, Celerity, Scorch. Demolish, Overgrowth. Items: Demonic Embrace, Liandry, Ravenous Hydra, Warmog's.
You never die, and your traps burn for a million hp. Anytime you get low-ish on health, you Ult, Q away, drop a trap to dissuade pursuit, and regen all your hp in a few seconds, then come back and make them regret every decision in their life that led to this moment.
Edit: Oh, and between your traps, your ult, and Demolish, you take towers insanely fast.
What I’ve learned: Gank Nasus early. Always
Leona, Lethal Tempo Triforce and Titanic Hydra, build full tank afterwards. You become unkillable cc lockdown death machine.

Favourite URF thing is definitely AP Kai'Sa. Not as the AP build that used to go around but only tons and tons of AP and W max and basically ignore the other abilities (Q is 'okay' but you should never be that close to enemies).
Most people forget that Kai'Sa gets vision when W hits, meaning when they try to back due to the poke you can just keep shooting at them and late game 2 W's is a kill 🙂
Sadly, W's AP ratio got nerfed a bunch after AP Kai'Sa was a thing in ranked, so I don't know if it's as powerful anymore, haven't had the chance to try it out since.
