Good question..I only did it one time but I feel the information I received during the experience was very helpful. I’m definitely glad I did it. And it’s something I would do again. They say that you experience more benefits when you do it regularly, but I can’t speak on that myself.
The practitioner I saw recommended a supplement called Mag 07. I haven’t tried it myself, so can’t comment on how effective it is. She also recommended eating slower, walking, and bouncing (on a trampoline or yoga ball) to help with gas. Not medical advice, be sure to consult your doctor!
I didn’t know they still had colonic places. I haven’t seen one in years. It is such a wonderful feeling, it makes you feel fantastic!

I wouldn’t say I experienced any negative side effects. If I recall correctly I was a bit tired after. But my experience was pretty smooth overall.

Right, you can do an enema at home which is pretty similar. I’ve done both. But from my understanding a colonic does a deeper cleanse.

I can’t recall the exact price I paid when I did it a couple years ago. But the current price at Vida Colonics Spa where I went is $99.
