In the summer of 2016 we took a road trip starting in Michigan & ended in Las Vegas. Took i70 starting in Denver. The San Rafael reef was stunning! Thanks for making this video. Brings back some good memories :)

Thanks for the second Xmas upload! Yeah, parts of the southeast Utah canyon country weren't even fully mapped until the advent of airplanes in the 1920s and 30s. It's a pretty wild and woolly area.

This was a great video and so are the other ones! I really enjoy them because I love road trips. In your future videos, could you please include those brown signs that have national parks, Historical landmarks, and other important places in America on the video screen? I also think that San Rafael Reef should become a National Historic landmark, national monument, or a national park.
If they do the national park or national monument, then there will be some visitor centers, camp sites, rest areas, and the park entrance with a toll booth. I look forward to seeing your videos and good luck!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas. This is one drive I'd love to take once this virus is behind us.

Not sure you are right about the "longest stretch of new road to open" stat. Interstate 5 between Westley and Wheeler Ridge- an extremely long distance, maybe 220 miles of road- opened on a completely new route (the old route of US 99 went up the center and east side of the San Joaquin Valley, and I-5 bypassed it all on the west side) in March 1972.

I-5 opened in phases, not one continuous stretch like this one did

@@InterstateKyle maybe, but wasn't there a huge Wheeler Ridge to Highway 152 segment that opened up all at once?

Is it just me or is the pace of the videos picking up? We've seen more of the "two videos in a week" type of things latelu

Only reason for two videos in a day is because its Christmas. We'll be kicking off the New Year with 4K content starting with Episode 32.. then after that its back to once a week give or take.

What you see is what you get. Nothing before it and nothing after it.
    Bring your smelling salts otherwise.

There's a slideshow near end of this video. Personally, I'm a flatlander and hated this drive I couldn't watch the video !
