Every great scholar of Islam belonged to a Madhab. Only the followers of SALAFIYYAH go against Madhabs because this newly invented religion was made to destroy Islam from the inside.

this is a shādh view from shaykh muqbil with all due respect to him. the permissibility of following a madhab for ones fiqh is established and multiple ‘ulamā have transmitted a consensus on this point. even if you want to say the consensus is false, it at least shows there was very little disagreement on it, so why take the isolated view of a contemporary scholar from the last century over all those scholars? you think all those ‘ulama were ignorant of or opposed those verses quoted in this video? there is a lot ta’assub towards shaykh muqbil with alot of brothers these days unfortunately, which is ironic considering their supposed stances against taqlid and ta’assub. the shaykh erred on this issue, simple. scholars make mistakes. deal with it.
@@i._.29110 the sahābah had been following the dalīl, without a madh-hab, and the tabi'een too. The madh-haahib are a way to split the ummah, and to hold fast to an opinion which opposed the dalā'īl.

@@AdamFirdaus-wm2xm Lol akhi we don’t follow scholars because of their names or because they’re scholars. We follow them as a tool to understand the Qur’an and Sunnah as the Ulama have mentioned. If al Albani or Muqbil make a mistake without any proofs from the Kitab or the Sunnah, we say they’ve made a mistake and avoid it. The issue is when people take on a madhhab and follow all the rulings from that madhhab becaude it’s their madhhab, which is what you’ll see many people doing nowadays. They follow by name, not by proofs. This is not okay, regardless of if it’s 1 of the A’immah of the Madhahib or if it’s from Sh Muqbil, Sh al Albani, Sh Fawzan etc…

Shaykh Muqbil is correct, following a madh-hab is bid'ah, we are ordered to follow the dalīl not the speech of fulān.
