I really enjoyed The Lion King bits - I’m sure we’ve heard those observations before, but they were certainly delivered well. I had less investment in the dog parts, but the bit at the end with Simon was great fun… I have a bit of an issue with Learnmore’s habit of breaking into spontaneous laughter, but it suits his energetic personality. As a cheery (and sometimes surprisingly sharp) comedian providing a specifically African POV, Learnmore comes across as a U.S. equivalent to BGT icon Daliso Chaponda. Direct comparisons can be simplistic, but whilst I enjoy Daliso more, Learnmore is an excellent comedian, and I wouldn’t mind seeing him become the first stand-up to win AGT…
Well if we speak of Dalitso, he does his jokes in a European view point but telling an African story he once experienced. When it comes to Learnmore he has all the energy to tell the African story the african way.
