This is no way to teach Accounting - Jeff Winger, actually tho, this story arc is the same as Saved By the Bell when Belding's brother is a sub. Same twist.
Was This episode supposed to be about the cool teacher that enlightens all the rebellious kids. This is one of my favorite TV shows of all time but this episode was always so cliche to me. These type of plots were huge in that era they had so many movies based off that idea.( freedom writers,Dead poets society, dangerous minds, stand and deliver, lean on me) the list goes on. But if you look at every single one of those movies there's always that annoying stereotype of the kid who lives in a bad neighborhood who has bad grammar bumping a boom box. other girls eating food getting their hair done talking gossip, and then there's always that one nerdy kid who actually wants to learn.w
RIP Roger Rees he was a brilliant actor and this is one of my favorite episodes
Also TLC at the beginning so nostalgic
" we will be discussing you in your absence
discussing you will help pass the time" LOL
This was my favorite episode of My So Called Life. Shades of Dead Poets Society.
Shades? In fairness, a lot closer to the Saved by the Bell episode.
@@dustynesmith never saw it
But Roger Rees was a lot superior actor than Robin Williams. Not tricky.
Way ahead of its' time.
the nerd is Brian Krakow. After, his real name is Devon Gummersall.
Roger Rees, a great actor.

Rod Belding loved his stewardesses
Two Beldings in one building one of which is balding!?!
