Baking With Josh & Ange I have not made them yet. Unfortunately, my grandma took a turn for the worst this week. Our family has been rallying around my 98 year old grandfather and spending as much with her as we can. Once things settle down I will make them and post pictures.

My daughter and I made mints like these for Christmas when she was little. We didn’t use molds though, we rolled them into little balls and made snowmen. My daughter made a little family. A dad, mom and baby snowman. They were so cute! My mom said they were so good, but she had a hard time eating a cute little snow baby! 😄
Aw, I love the family stories and Josh's photos. And thanks for the sugar on the candy mold trick! I tried to make these a few years ago (remembering when I did in Girl Scouts a long time ago) and it failed. Now I know how to make them correctly!

You are so welcome! The mints are actually pretty shelf stable. I would recommend keeping them in the refrigerator until your event, but they are fine to be out for a day or two. The mints will just dry out and get hard, but are safe to consume.

I used to have mints that were shaped like whole fruits a bunch of grapes, a peach, etc, outside was sugar coated and they just melted in your mouth ,are these the same?
QUESTION: I just made these and I think I did it wrong 😂 they ended up really sticky and they basically just squish apart when you pick them up. What did I do wrong??
I just went to Michaels and got the silicone molds. My Grandma gave me some of her old rubber ones...which actually work the best, but they are harder to find.
