Exactly these cold drinks are nothing but sugary soda , they are selling diabetes , people should buy natural fruit juice or company should sell healthy alternative of sugar with less quantity in their drinks. To be honest, I tried Campa Cola which is half the price compared to Coca Cola. But in taste it is worse than Coca Cola, I know its half the price but instead of decreasing that much price Campa should focus on increasing taste quality. [ it's my personal opinion]

The truth is.. it will never be able to beat the Coca Cola market. Its a huge huge business with planted and fixed strategies. The only city i see who enjoyes desi drink more is Mumbai. Campa Cola taste was like medicine ,, it lasted till it did only because there was not much competition in the cola catagory, other than Thums Up, which is best amongst all colas ,, but the rich multi-national cola manufacturer, the big shark, ate the small fish ( Thums Up, too was snatched from Indians )
Don't agree. Before the advent of Pepsi and Coca Cola (or rather their re-entry), India had its own unique drinks - especially Gold Spot, the original Thumbs-up and Limca. While I don't remember drinking Campa Cola, I do remember it tasted quite good and NOT medicine like. I think people would agree that NO cool drink in India could have survived even in a closed market because Indians always look for taste and any drink that tastes bitter would have been a major flop.

If campa cola is available every nook and corner of our country then they beat coca cola and Pepsi.
