Why do you keep using glue when it would be so much better to sew those areas too.
You literally butchered the bag with the scissors I thought you were going to insert grommets. Not so.

Hi love. Sooo disclaimer: I am in no way a seamstress, so you can discard what I am about to say. You could put in your description or in words across the screen that where you are using hot glue someone could use fabric glue or sew those areas. I get that the hot glue is quicker and I would have done the same my self, the point will always be that you showed us the bag pattern. Thanks for making awesome vids that even slow people like me can follow. Have a great one!!!!
Why the craft glue? There is no way there is any strength in your handles after a few uses the glue would start ripping them off the sides. If you sewed them on first left a hole in the side if your lining and sewed it in then stitch the hole after pushing the lining in you'd have a more durable purse and it would last longer than one season, I find your purse cute for my granddaughter.. I may try it but rethinking the grommets and handle
After watching this video I gave the dry wall mesh tape a try, it works like a charm. I had it in my stash and couldn't wait to try it. I make bags all the time and was looking for an inexpensive way to stiffen them, this fits the bill. Thank for the technique.
Have you washed any of these bags yet? I'm curious about how well the dry wall mesh holds up over time.

А вместо дыр заклеенных, можно люверсы вставить, оч красиво будет и смотрится лучше, ну и ручки обязательно прошить 😉
У единиц мастеров-самоучек есть агрегат для установки люверсов😣😣😣
А касательно прошивки- я с вами согласна, и подкладку тоже прошить нужно. Используя много идей этого канала, обожглась на проклейке-это очень ненадёжно!!!! Только прошивать!!!

I have to agree with the comments about the gluing but thanks for the idea. I really like your fabric choice and the dry wall for sturdiness is fab. I can use grommets and sew when I make mine.

Linda! Aqui no Brasil usamos entretela de tecido (que tem 2 gramaturas - mais fina, para gola de camisa - mais grossa, própria para estruturação de bolsas) junto com uma Manta Resinada (chamada R1 (cola de um lado) ou R2 (cola dos dois lados - eu uso essa!), pode acrescentar um TNT grosso de gramatura 120 ou 150 (próprio para estruturação), mas esse não costumo usar. Vou me aventurar a fazer uma dessa, ficou linda! Congratulations from Brasil...

What kind of glue do you use on a project like this? I am afraid it would come apart if you don't sew it..
The use hot glue... and yes it will fall appart quite quickly

You could use thick bias tape
or correction that is bias tape

I might be wrong but I think you can get it at Home Depot or Lowes, Walmart as well.
It is used to make the bag body more rigid. It is quite expensive. I use a comparable item from Joann’s sewing store that is less expensive!
Amazon for one. Any well stocked hardware store. A roll is very inexpensive. 6 inches x 75 feet for $8.00 Look for fiber mesh drywall repair tape. If you know someone who repairs or installs drywall ask for a piece from their stash so you can decide if it works for you.

The bag is so cute I’m gonna make it....... BUT WITHOUT THE GLUE
The glue.. I just cannot trust the robustness of the bag, it saves time but undergrad it's quality.
The bag is very good overall.
