Prayers does help people to be succesful but it is the prayers that are done according to the proper rules. When you are praying and you regard a human being or an object as God, then the prayers will be on no avail.
Those who truly believe in God and worship him by properly obeying him will have his prayers accepted.
To say therefore that prayers have no effect is utterly wrong.

A seasoned, emphasis on seasoned, teacher of the law(theologian or just a seasoned religious debater with enough intellect) can reduce all Avrams arguments to bits if they met.
You don’t believe me, watch political arguments between current contemporary online debaters like destiny, hasinabi, Fuentes and etc. You’re convinced someone is so right in their presentation only to be proved wrong later by another submission which totally shifts the perspective from what wasn’t initially considered.
Knowledge isn’t absolute. To tout yourself as possessing it in its most absolute form is an issue in and of itself.
The reason why to each his own works as a long standing advice is that there are Christians, despite avrams bashing of their baseless faith, working hard and contributing to the world in ways avrams entire lineage never would. Not an insult. A valid statement.

So the point isn’t to sit and debate everyone on their beliefs. Beliefs are exactly what they are. Beliefs aren’t fact. They’re mostly or always subjective, basically to help people realize their higher goals or self. If a Christian’s belief system encouraged them to become like Christ, embodying habits of regular helping of the poor through giving the church, loving enemies(which can include a corrupt pastor/head), being hardworking as well as praying before ACTUALLY PURSUING all goals, staying true to yourself by abiding in honesty and trustworthiness, etc etc, nothing an atheist says should matter or be a cause for concern for that Christian. So far as the said Christian isn’t lost or a radicalism in their views.
The problem with being a non-Christian won’t be to attack them based on what they don’t do and the glaring errors in their manuscripts/Bible. It’ll be to urge its practitioners to just be better Christians. That’s all. That’ll even solve a lot of the problems we have in society. There are pretenders everywhere. Some atheist and most agnostics find themselves praying to a certain higher power unconsciously in the event of a crashing plane or road accident or natural disaster. So people will do WHAT THEY WANT TO DO WHEN THEY feel like it. We just have to urge people to do “good” things. These good things are mostly founded on principles rooted in various religions.
Even atheistic seasoned psychologists who know therapeutic solutions to most possible mental ailments themselves are ailed by the same things they help people abate.
A lot of them come up with personal and subjective principles to live right or live in a manner that helps them apply the 1,0001 principles and facts they very well know. Knowledge in and of itself doesn’t outrightly make you “enlightened” and “different/special” from everyone else.
I stopped debating religious people long ago when I realized my arguments make me a bitter and rather trivial character while a lot of them with their supposed “baseless” and “wrong” faiths, went on to live happier lives because their BELIEFS make them that, happy, when practiced right and genuinely.
There will always be stupid people in every regard. There are some very stupid atheist as well as stupid religious/spiritual people.
So if you look at it critically, which the csm family probably isn’t doing or hasn’t been doing for a long while, you’d realize that every wise man will choose to say nothing. Hence the popular cliche, “A wise man once said nothing”.

Be wise, find what works for you, assess all the belief systems and adopt one, or device yours, from scratch that doesn’t trample on the rights and freedoms of another or hurt another person in anyway, and live life happily and in your own space.
Nothing you do will change the world. A million before you have tried to lead revolutions ,political and spiritual, to change the very foundations of everything, NONE have been successful. Don’t be arrogant and foolhardy into thinking your cause has a chance of chancing anything, especially argumentatively. Humans are essentially emotional creatures who take sides of subjectivity and build walls of logic around their choices.
Any christian or a believer who will listen to Avram in his walk with God is tantamount to failing .....
