  • Kojima truly is the Denim Capital of Japan, with Jeans Street housing many different shops with handmade denim, and Washuzan which has a fantastic view of the great Seto Bridge.

Your videos have potential, educational and funny at the same time. I like how you make lame remarks and at the same time you are well aware of them being lame. Just one thing I expected was that you would down the first beer you had.

Do you know any places dedicated to selling Denim Fabric in wholesale quantities in Tokyo or anywhere else in Japan?

More content please!, the kojima jeans street are fanservice for denim enthusiasts allover the world especially ones who knows how notorious the japanese brand denims are. Basically the market segmentation are for denim/jeans enthusiasts, i dont really know the general perception for foreign tourists perceiving it as a must-visit spot or not. Just my opinion tho

Thanks for the kind words! I've been swamped with work, so I haven't had a chance to travel and explore more. 2020 will definitely give me lots of opportunities to check out quirky places that not many people know about!
I agree! All the shops there have unique denim wear, and can even make tailor made stuff for you. If you like denim, kojima is the place to be!

Hey man, just encountered your channel because i am really interested in visiting Jeans Street. How should I travel to Jeans Street from Okayama Station?

Hey! Good timing, as I'm finally back and planning to launch this channel fully after a long break!
20 minutes with the Marin Liner (マリンライナ) headed to Kagawa from Okayama Station , 3 stops for 500円 directly to Kojima Station. Jeans Street is walking distance (10 min) from the station!
Edit: there is also a more expensive (1000円) express called Shiokaze where you need reserved seats and the first stop is Kojima, although it's only 2 min shorter travel time.
