You pick some of the neatest things. I relate to you because even though we are far from Saskatoon we do travel there a few times a year and check out the thrift shops. I don't sell just by to keep. Good luck with your business. Keep up the good work!

Your Value Village is called Savers here in the States. When they were brand new it was THE best place to thrift shop but now they are very pricey. I saw a little mirror a few weeks ago that had its original price tag of $6.99 and they had it marked at $9.99. Used to be able to get nice used t-shirts for $2.99 but now you can’t find anything less than $5.99. Unfortunately the majority of people take their donations there now. Our Goodwills and Salvation Army’s don’t have much good anymore because of Savers (at least here in Kansas City). They are a for profit thrift store as well. I’m new to your channel and am enjoying going along as you shop!😊

Many suppliers get their wares from the same place. I’ve seen that glass candleholder as Partylite as well. The shape is the same, from the same form, but the quality differs. I have seen cream coloured decor with blue flowers that can be Avon or Skye McGhie.

But...big, no markings-from the 80s, or last year? Would love to see your owl collection-love them, but l know I'd get in trouble! 🦛 Hope things are getting green, and will soon be blooming there! @@eclecticvintagethrifter eh, they were hilarious 😂 I had a sixth grade school teacher who retired after that year, she wore the craziest retro shoes, 👠 heels, mostly mid height, beaded tassels that smacked with every step, you name it, often matching the dress, never, ever pants, ever, 1976, Delores. I loved her.
She sounds just like a funky art teacher I had in junior high, very eccentric. Always had an wrist full of bangles that jangled!
@@eclecticvintagethrifter lol, we remember the good ones don't we. I saw my Delores later in life. Getting old in difficult, she knew that I became a nurse. For me, seeing the mental faculties go is the worst. BTW, art was inclusive in the 6th grade, and she always had the best projects. Creative people are often phenomenal.

Totally agree -- it's Indiana Glass and those crudite dishes are all over the internet in different colors.
