ANYWHO!
This is how i typically do my root shadow.
I highlighted her right to the root and shadowed back out for maximum brightness, yet maximum blend as well!

Root always full time as the color company says , loreal 35 mnts, here she applies schwarzkopf 40 mnts , on faded lengths last 20 mnts enough . On roots if time gets more than 40 mnts no problem. Now a days we have bond builder caring mix . Roots always full time

I have a question. I'm doing a charcoal shadow root and fire phoenix ombre hair. Should I dye and rinse out my shadow root first then do the fashion colors or can I do then all at the same time? Will my red melt into the grey if I do then separately?

I have a question why did you shadow root with such a dark tone as 5? She looks a natural 7, doesn't it darken too much? Thanks for your answer!
marina emonale hey there! Thanks so much❤️ she is actually a natural level 5! The lighting in the room/ the video may have her appear looking lighter, as well as the highlights breaking up her base may have the base appear lighter but she is a 5! ☺️

You did a great job, but I felt sorry for your hands. If you don’t wear gloves sooner or later you will have arthritis cause those chemicals are very strong. My mother was a hairdresser she did what you are doing, so she had a really bad and painful 😣arthritis. Take care. ❤️🙏
Kokitoro M thank you for your concern! Since this video I have started to wear gloves for those very reasons! Need to protect my skin from the chemicals. Thanks again and happy new year 😊
Are you using permanent or Demi permanent on the roots?
larissa robbins I am using Demi permanent! Schwarzkopf vibrance color with 6vol.
Alex Squared i did demi permanent on my 1 year natural grey hair with the same 6 volume gel .....will I ever see my natural grey hair since it’s Demi or I will have to continue doing my roots l.li hope it all fade away...?
