I run out of plaster doing mine so put the last 4 sections up with flour and water mix. only had self raising so told the wife not to have the heating on too high or it would meet in the middle of the room 🤣🤣. that was 22yrs ago and it's still holding strong.

Plaster won't hold it very long without nail or screws but nice and neat job. I used to fit this and it's not easy.
Not sure u noticed but its on concrete walls. Less hes tapping screws in a 3rd world country which is likely in India or Pakistan, his work will suffice for his location and tools available. Gotta respwct the artwork and techniques in other countries with lack of "power tools" and "technologies" highly abundent in the USA.
Sure it will hold up for long time. They do this in old turn of the century plaster homes.
He's working on cement. I think a good adhesive would be better.

Been there done that.. but i allways put a few 2 inch nails above and underneath the coving till it dried.. next day took em out and filled the holes.. sorted..

Seems like your gypsum dries a little darker than the plaster moldings, do you go back and paint over all of it to hide that or is it hard enough to see if you’re not up close? Amazing work and a pleasure to watch!

I use to work with my father who used to do this kind off skill . the name off the skill we call it platrier in the USA they call it I believe plastering .
My father retiere 20 years ago . I am 52 years old . my biggest mistake in my life . I didn't take over this honorable skill .big mistake . good luck to any human in this world who does this skill .
