I was about to die from an overdose in my apartment in Miami all alone after so many different drugs…I went to grab my phone and I couldn’t even see what I pressed and out of no where TH-cam started and this song played. My heart was beating out of my chest and then the room turned white and I felt at peace. My heart slowed down and I survived. Jesus Christ is real people. He saved my life.🙏🙏🙏Amen
Amen! I love hearing testimonies like these. I was just starting my journey back to God when one day I just said I accept Jesus as my Lord and savior. Then I started to hear music play and after locating the source as my iPod, it was playing You Are The Living Word- the one gospel song that I have downloaded which happens to be about Jesus. That's how we know the Holy Spirit is a real thing. These things just can't be explained.

I play this song in my classroom and anoint my classroom door regularly. The don't realize they are walking into the anointing when these 8th graders sit down. I have students that act up in every class but mine. Teachers ask how I control them and I have the opportunity to explain it isn't me...its the God of the universe!

I suffered from infertility tried for so many years to get pregnant. I always prayed to god to please bless me with a child. I was watching a mother play with her son on tik tok one day I cried and screamed to God "God please give me a child!!!!!" that same day something in me told me to take a pregnancy test... it came back positive! I couldnt believe it I was in tears and in shock!I took more pregnancy tests and they all came back positive! A week after I found out I was pregnant I found a cross necklace a few steps away from where I worked at and I then knew it was really God all along and never left my side. I now have a 11 month healthy beautiful baby boy. He's turning 1 in a few days! ❤ God is good!💜Amen🙏🏾

My mother was mentally emotionally and physically abusive, my dad was in and out until he was completely gone, I witnessed my cousin murdered when I was 8, I was molested by several family members, I became a parent at 15, I dropped out of highschool and raised that child alone. I went through homeless, drinking , smoking, and fornicating. But thank God for the prayers of the righteous. Amen. I am now 33 years old, filled with the spirit of God, a home owner of 2 properties, I went back to school and got my HSED, became a RN, My child is now 17, filled with the spirit of God, graduated high school early, no kids and works a full-time job, I've been single and celibate for 11 years, I will be marrying the love of my life in 3months. I have a dog that I love and God is showing himself to be faithful. . . I said all this to say.... I WAS NEVER ALONE AND MY CUP RUNS OVER. GLORY TO GOD. . . ITS ALL WORTH IT.

YOU SAW mountains high and lofty, YOU SAW valleys lush and green. YOU SAW babbling brooks, and wildflowers grow, YOU EVEN HEARD a robin sing. Then through YOUR COMPASSION STANDING OUT THERE IN YOUR TOMORROW, YOU SAW forum's visitors, their families and friends. 🥰
YOU SAW them as sinners (missing the mark when aiming to solve a problem then creating another resulting in their weaknesses prevailing causing guilt of wrong doing) because there is no intrinsic righteousness in any of us due to Adam’s sin. YOU SAW them as they grew from a baby into adulthood due to YOUR HANDS OF MERCY. 🥰 YOU SAW them pursuing a career path for the purpose of obtaining the gains of the world not realizing that it is a loss compared to what YOU DID on the cross. YOU SAW them working long and laboring hard to receive justification by grace even though YOU stated, "This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."(John 6:29 KJV) YOU SAW the unwillingness to accept YOUR PLAN OF SALVATION THROUGH YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST. YOU SAW them living with the guilt of committing crimes to the heart. YOU SAW them enduring personal crisis. YOU SAW the weight of the burden on their hearts with each tribulation. YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow.
If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. Indeed, ONLY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS SUFFICIENT TO SAVE us from this present evil world as evidenced by Mary's song of praise. "And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour." (Luke 1:46-47 KJV) Awesome thanks to YOUR GREAT PARDON for being easy on the heart. 🥰
They have seen a lot of crazy things done in YOUR NAME. For example, the father of lies futile attempts to make crooked the right ways of the LORD to turn people away from faith in the WORKS OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE. How can anyone bear the thought of his or her life story detracting from the GLORY AND HONOR KNOWN TO BELONG TO CHRIST ALONE? As a consequence, YOU ARE A MYSTERY OF GREAT MYSTERY to them. Despite this conviction, YOU ARE MINDFUL of them as evidenced by the fact that YOUR JUDGEMENT is not speedy, allowing them to pursue the desires of the flesh.
They are aware of hypocrisy in religious assemblies that like to be seen and heard. In addition, secular education teaches that there is no right and wrong, if GOD exists there is no way of relating to HIM, and moral standards shift according to the whims of fashion. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seek to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take.
Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds what is false in YOUR EYES.
LORD GUIDE their thoughts to know that the path of sin is hard on their hearts for the purpose of crying out to YOU to know the joy, peace of having the heavy burden LIFTED by THE GOD OF PEACE I AM, and ANCHOR their souls in THE HAVEN OF REST. In other words, LORD use the storms in their lives to get a hold of them to trust YOU and believe. In truth, YOU ARE THE JOY that seekest them through pain.
LORD HELP their fainting hearts to believe that YOU, who was slain on the cross over 2000 years ago has the POWER TO CHANGE lives today through the INSTANTANEOUS GREAT FAVOR from GOD to the house of Israel made known in believers by YOU to make YOUR NAME EVERLASTING. 🥰 For as the statue liberates the citizens so the cross liberates the soul. ONLY YOU can calm the trouble waters of the mind when one admits to wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, JESUS IS LORD, and believes in the heart that GOD RAISED HIM from the dead TO LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt away from the heart in accordance to YOUR WORD found in Psalm 51:1-10 KJV. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
O, the wonder of it all to experience within the flesh the feeling of a tree being cut back/pruned in order for it to grow stronger and more beautiful after meditating on the words of said Psalm. 🥰🙌
LORD MAKE them know that ONLY YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, through the experience of a new birth within believers, can prevent the family circle from being broken because THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE YOU HAVE GRANTED means a chapter of their lives is decided. Creation sings the rebirth song for them yearly, through YOUR PROMISE of springtime, giving rise to the idea that by the mention of YOUR NAME flowers grow, and the desert blooms again. 🥰
LORD GUIDE their understanding of words to use to come into YOUR PRESENCE with an honest reverence of WHO YOU ARE to experience the beauty that time can't erase YOUR WISDOM resting on their faces. LORD STRENGTHEN their determination to never waiver in efforts to search for YOU because the wages of sin is too high for anyone to pay. Additionally, THE KING OF KINGS is needed in their hearts to learn how to expand their capacity to love for YOU are LOVE in any language. 🥰 Once they learn to speak it with boldness through YOUR WONDERFUL COUNSELING all the world will hear, and know that LOVE is the language of their hearts. So LORD, KEEP KNOCKING on their doors until they let YOU in to know hardships and struggles will end with a GREAT CELEBRATION WITH YOU. 🥰🙌
If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV. Given this, I pray that YOU WILL MAKE that person see that this feeling is wasted for a world in which we become strangers as we age, gives us thrills instead of peace, aims to solve a problem but creates another, and unrest surges with each passing generation. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee.
Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh.
O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. Many thanks LORD for speaking TRUTH in our lives TO BLESS those who are not offended by THEE. LET YOUR WILL BE DONE because YOUR LOVE ALONE CONQUERS everything by WAITING for them to cease struggling, and finally surrender to YOUR EMBRACE to learn about YOUR LOVE AND PROMISE TO TAKE CARE of your children exquisitely. 🥰 Since... "at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore"... (Psalms 16:11 KJV), and the nail print for them to know YOU by answering the following question. How did CHRIST LOVE people into a relationship with HIM? 🥰

This was the last song I listened to before going into theatre for my elective caesarean section. In theatre things didn't go as planned and I started losing so much blood. My hands turned white and was almost going into shock. But this song kept on playing in my head and I knew for sure it wasnt my day to die. The doctors and nurses till date don't believe I survived through all that. God loves me and is real.

I was a drunkard, fornicator, I use to club and pop pills, but I had a encounter with JESUS while in jail facing 5-10 years.. I have my heart to JESUS and he made me over again at age 23.. almost 9yrs later Hallelujah, I'm still free and born again, and filled with the Holy Ghost…JESUS is a mighty deliverer bless his Holy name

Last night, I was crying because of loneliness, logged into my computer to shop, and this song starts playing out of nowhere. And I mean my computer was muted, and I didnt touch anything but the sound came on just as they started singing "hallelujah I am not alone, he's my comfort, always holds me close."
I was crying at church during prayers because I felt alone. Team Members from my ministry were having a get together and I wasnt invited, I heard about it through someone else and on top of that I dont have any friends so i was feeling very very sad. This song turned on at the right time, God let me know that he is with me❤

I want to encourage you. I have been there and God is delivering me from people. It happened to me and I felt the same way but God knows what He is doing. See people are fickle but God is not. I use to pray and sometimes still pray and say God" Send me people that you want in my life, not the ones I think should be in my life" . And He did and continues to do that. You see One-day I was talking to God and asked "Why I can't fit in "? He answered" Because I need you to be able to stand out and speak boldly when the time comes". So, I said okay and thanked Him. Trust the process.
Be encouraged. You were not meant to be there. Rejection is painful; but God will sometimes use the rejection of people to keep us safe & in His will. God is faithful & will never leave nor forsake you. He loves you and He's always present. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

May 22, 2019 was more than just a normal day for me. It turned out to be a life changing day. I was walking to the library and just when I was about to cross the street, I was stopped and greeted by a person that asked me how my day was. Since I was out enjoying nice weather, I said pretty good. The person asked me if I believed in Jesus. And I didn’t know how to respond to it because sometimes I act like I believe and sometimes I stumble. He then went on to ask if I wanted to accept Jesus into my heart, and I made the life commitment Wednesday morning to following Jesus. Of course I would go on to share my story because a lot of my friends and church family would be happy about my decision I made. I truly believe it was the power of God’s Kingdom to know my situation and to place someone across my path by surprise to lead me to the Lord. And of course, I truly believe I made the greatest decision of my life making the life commitment choice to following Jesus. And as I begin a fresh start at life, thanks to the grace and forgiveness of Jesus, I know that I’m not alone.

This song got me through an early miscarriage in 2018 and it’s getting me through another miscarriage now in 2020. I was a week away from being in my second trimester. Did not expect to get the news that my baby’s heart had stopped. 5 days after delivering the baby at home and burying u see a beautiful plant, I began to hemorrhage. Had to be rushed by ambulance to the emergency room. My hemoglobin was down to a 5. I was bleeding to death and could feel myself slipping away and the PA and nurse that were working in the ER that day almost let me die. They wanted to transfer me an hour away to my OBGYN even though I was pleading with them to just contact the OBGYN on call where I was already at. They refused. I was too unstable to transfer and they orders blood for a transfusion and they sat me on a portable toilet beside the bed. ( TMI, I apologize ) but that is where I almost bled to death. They just left me. Hours went by, they finally let my husband in and that’s when I lost consciousness. I collapsed off that toilet shift change had just taken place. God sent the right people at the right time. I had been there bleeding profusely for 7 hours at that point. When I arrived to the ER my hemoglobins was already down to 7 at shift change it was 5 they called the OBGYN on call. My husband said when he walked into my room he said “why has no one called me before now?” He was furious that I had been there for 7 hours bleeding and contracting and fainting and no one bothered to call him. They had not gotten me a transfusion and they sat me on that toilet. Within minutes of shift change there was a guy squeezing bags of blood into my IV. They had started 2 more IV’s on me and they were trying to get me slight more stable for surgery, but the OB told my husband, without surgery we won’t be able to stabilize her so we just have to take her as is. I felt myself slipping away. I had entered a place where peace starts to take over and the pain is so bad you can’t feel it anymore, but my outwardly appearance according to my husband, I was shaking uncontrollably my teeth were chattering, I was moaning, crying, that I was in pain, and repeating “by HIS stripes I am healed” over and over. I don’t remember any of that. I didn’t expect to wake up 6 hours later and be alive, but I was alive!!! It was midnight, I wanted to call everyone I knew, I was so excited and thankful to be alive! The bleeding almost stopped completely, the pain which the contractions, were gone. I was weak, so weak, and my body felt like I had been hit by a bus, but I was alive! God had Mercy and he granted the prayers of my family and church family and friends. My husband and My children ( we have 6 children ) weren’t going to bury me on Mother’s Day. The doctor came in to see me the next morning. He said that there was no more wiggle room. That I was in bad shape. It took him 15 minutes in the O.R. ( he did a D&C ) to have my womb cleaned out. The bleeding started because my uterus had not cleared out everything from the miscarriage, it was a pretty simple procedure, it makes me so angry that even though I begged the initial nurse and PA that cared for me to call that very doctor and to have that very procedure done, they REFUSED. They wanted to transfer me to my doctor an hour away. I wouldn’t have survived that ride. It was only about an hour before shift change when they told my husband they had sent off for the ambulance even though I hadn’t gotten my blood transfusion yet. I would have died had the ambulance gotten there to pick me up. The prayers of so many are what kept me alive when the neglect of 2 almost killed me! I have a testimony even in the midst of so much pain. I am still mourning my baby. I still have days that I am too sad and too depressed to get up, this song got me through the first loss I went through and crazy as it is, God sent this song to my mom to send to me. She had never heard it before. All I could do was smile when I opened the message. She never knew that I played this song on repeat the last time. That i sang this song in my spirit, she sent it to me the moment I was at my lowest. Where DePriest was setting in and I was struggling to see the other side. I lost my joy. I’ve listened to this song almost constantly the past 4 days. My spirit is healing, my heart is mending! I know this was a long comment. A lot of TMI and probably seemed like me rambling, but I needed to tell my story, give my testimony and show how good Gods mercy is!! God bless you all!
What a testimony. I am angry that you were neglected by those nurses, but I pray that you forgive them if you haven't already. The pain of losing your child is great, but be happy that your child went on to be with the Lord and will be there when you finish running the race. God bless you and your family

To God Be the Glory. I am happy you are alive and even in your weakened state you knew to look to the father, the ultimate doctor. I am a recovery broom nurse. I work weekend nights, I mostly see traumas and emergent surgeries.It is typical for me to see gyn emergencies such as yours and you are correct with a hemoglobin of 7 you should have been transfused immediately and the D&C done. I feel so bad that you and your husband had to go through this. May God continue to cover and Bless you and your family.
I chanced on this song almost 2yrs ago when my big sister was pregnant and we were trusting God for a safe delivery.
Even though there were some complications during the pregnancy, God saw us through.
We used to play this song a lot coz the song calmed us, it reminded us of God's being Emmanuel, it reassured of victory.
Today I have beautiful healthy niece who will be 2yrs in July and i cant be grateful enough.

I am a young father trying to control my urge from smoking cigarettes. I know this is just a video but it means so much more that I’ve stumbled across it in this time of my life. I grew up going to church almost every Sunday until around my high school graduation I stopped going. Then I started to smoke cigarettes thinking it was cool, and that it was the only thing to help me relieve my stress. My health was been going down drastically because of it. I want to be in my daughters life, who just turned 6months yesterday, for as long as possible. I want to be there for every father daughter dance, every prom, and eventually walk her down the aisle. This video and song gives me the energy and faith to right that wrong of smoking and help me give myself even more of a push to stop. Thank you so much for this video. #HighlyFavored 🙌🏼

it's been two weeks since you originally posted. If things are going well then you're almost over the hump. If you're still smoking them you need to change what you're doing . No one can make you quit smoking except you.If this is something you have decided you want to do, then it can be done.
Make up your mind you are never going to buy another pack or bum one from a friend.
Go through your house and get rid of every ashtray and empty all the butts into the outside trash can.
Do the same for your car or anyplace else where you have butts. It is so tempting to dig through a garbage can ,like a pig ,to find just 1 butt . Been there. I was a real slave. Do not hang out with smokers.
Always have a glass or bottle of water at hand.. Here's the key. The urge to smoke lasts about 5 minutes. Anyone can quit 5 minutes at a time!!! When the urge hits, Slowly drink a full glass of water. Find something else to do or think about. PRAY and ask God to help you get through this. YOU CAN DO THIS.
The urge to smoke will gradually diminish and one day you'll wake up and realize you don't need a cigarette!!

John Laei if the Lord put it on your heart to quit then you will be victorious. I’m just shy of 7 years cigarette free. And that was after 23 years of smoking. At my worst I was smoking 2 packs day. God alone gave me the strength to quit and He WILL do the same for you. Bless you!

I am a single mom of 9 i dont have and friends or family so i go my days in the house with no one to talk to and i feel so lonely all the time i also have chronic hypertension and i have anxiety attacks often in the night wen all my children are sleep and i am up alone. I went to the hospital today and the lord pushed me to have my mom listen to this song as shes fighting liver cancer and was admitted because of low white blood cell count. I held her hand as we listened and and I watched my mom weep as those words that were sung entered her body and the lord is healing her from the inside out. I am so thankful that I came across this song as it has drawn me closer to my own walk with the lord. Hallelujah, I am not alone !

It is amazing how alone one can feel when you are going through hardships. I have been going through tough financial battles and at times i felt so alone not because God is not available it was just how I felt, I felt like a failure, I felt all sorts of feelings and been tempted by the enemy with so many thoughts I can say one thing I was not alone God has been with me guiding me spirituality, emotionally , giving me wisdom to make the right decisions even when my back is against the wall and I did not understand how much you can learn walking with God in the wilderness and how humbled you can be and understand things supernaturally. Even in the wilderness I am not alone Hevus there to teach me and show me His greatness and I trust in him completely that the financial wars i am experiencing are overcome through His greatness but the most blessing time is how He is walking with me gracefully.
My family has requested I sing this at my father's funeral in less than a week. I love the song, but man I'd appreciate prayers that I do it justice to honor the man who raised me. Having a tough time.

I'm a hospital chaplain who provides comfort to patients who are actively dying. Often times, Christian & Catholic families ask me to pray over them & read Psalm 23, as the psalm is an active reminder of God's tender shepherding.
I discovered this song just last week; considering the pandemic we are in today, this song has been so refreshing & encouraging. Never has there been a moment where we need this Psalm more than ever.
