Appe are spiced dumplings those are shallow fried in a special pan known as appe patra. Generally these are made from rice. But today let’s see how to make instant appe using rava or semolina. Do try this recipe and drop a comment for me. You also can like, share and subscribe.
Ingredients:
• 1 tsp Oil
• 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1 cup Finely chopped Onion
• 1 tbsp Capsicum
• 1 tsp Green chili
• 1 tsp Grated Ginger
• 1 cup Rava / Semolina
• 1/2 cup Dahi / Yogurt
• Salt to taste
• 1 cup Water
• 1 tsp Eno fruit salt.
Method:
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Add mustard seeds and let them pop up.
• Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
• Add onion and fry until it turns light golden.
• Add capsicum, green chilies and ginger.
• Mix well and fry for about 2 minutes.
• You can add grated carrot or different colored capsicum too.
• Turn off the gas and keep it aside.
• Take rava in a bowl and add curd, salt in it. Mix well.
• Add water. Mix well.
• Add fried veggies and mix well.
• Cover and rest the batter for 15-20 minutes.
• Take the batter and add eno fruit salt just before making appe.
Mix well.
• Heat up appe patra and add a little oil in each mould.
• Add appe batter in each mould.
• Add a little oil at the sides of appe.
• When appe get nice golden color flip them over with the help of
knife of spoon.
• Roast from other side until these turn nice golden.
• Take the appe out into a dish.
• App are already. Serve with chutney.

It is better to use fenugreek seeds { Methi Dane} instead of Eno fruit salt. It will also make the batter light and fluffy. Moreover, it's a natural ingredient unlike Eno , which is a chemical compound. Try to eat as natural as possible and remain healthy.

तुमच्या सगळ्या रेसिपी जितक्या चविष्ट व लज्जतदार असतात तेवढ्याच सोप्या पण असतात.रव्या चे अप्पे बर्‍याच दा बनवले.सगळ्यां ना खूप आवडले.मला विचारायचं होतं कि सकाळी घाई च्या वेळेस जमतं नाही. रात्री सगळं मिसळून न घालून न हालवता ठेवलं तर चालेल का?
