I’ve always had a fascination with animals. Probably due in part to my reserved nature. I never really had any friends, even prior to my current pediment. When I was younger, I did have one friend, though. She was a cat; I named her Midnight. She had beautiful jet-black fur and glassy deep green eyes. I wasn’t her owner; She was a free spirit, a stray. I begged mom if I could take her home. Of course, my mom refused. Our apartment didn’t allow pets. However, this didn’t stop my interaction with her. I spent my free time playing with MIndiging in the park. I would buy MIdnight cheap cat food with the money I occasionally received. She was my best friend. Her distinct scratchy meow was charming. She would rub against my legs and look at me contently with those glowing eyes of hers. I enjoyed the time I spent with her. Of course, all great things come to an end. I went to visit Midnight one day, but she wasn’t at her usual spot by the playground. I searched everywhere in the park and the surrounding area; It was evening when I found her. She was dead. Her corpse was sprawled out on the side of the road, twisted and mangled. She was soaked in blood, and the dangling ropes of her intestines were hanging out of her stomach. She was looking at me; I saw the pain and anguish in her eyes. That was the first time I had witnessed death. It made me feel a new emotion. It didn’t make me cry; It didn’t make me scream. It made me feel empty. Now I feel that all the time. I see death everywhere; Every person, every animal. They’re always dead. Hanging from a tree, burnt to a crip, a mangled pile of mess like my poor friend Midnight. No matter the way, they’re always dead. I don’t talk to them. Their speaking comes out as a gargled cry or heaved breathing. I only interact with people through the internet, but even then, I can’t escape it. I can never escape it; It will always find a way to torment me.

She noted how Schizophrenia runs in my family-implying that what I see and feel is some delusion I've created to cope with trauma. She’s wrong! What I see is real! The agonizing pain I feel is real! She can’t even begin to comprehend the horrors I face; No one can. I suffer alone, and I’ve come to accept that.
Oh my god that’s sad, are you okay? If you’re feeling down or hopeless go see someone. Trust me, speaking to someone makes you feel a little weight off your shoulders. Again I’m not sure this will 100% work but it wouldn’t hurt to try!!
I feel like yelling out words would be easier on your throat than just yelling. In that particular clip yelling out "woah bear" or "go away bear" also gives a heads up to any other person nearby. They'll know what your yelling about. 🤷🏾♀️
