Osthi Pahar, Anandanagar, Purulia

Osthi Pahar, Anandanagar, Purulia is hill in Anandanagar area. Anandanagar is the headquarters of 'Ananda Marga', founded by Sri probhat Ranjan Sarkar (Anandamurtiji).
Anandamurtiji visited this small hill in 1980 27th December and found many fossils including that of Dinosaurs dated back 1.5 millions years. He named the hill "Osthi Pahar". English meaning is - hill of bones.
This is also a Tantrapit, and a holy place for 'Sanyashis'. They come here and mediate.
The hill and place is very calm, beautiful and full of spiritual vibrations.
If you visit the hill, you could feel the calmness.
